Scares and screams, all crumpled into Hazel's ears. Trying to stop back the noise, she crushed her palm in her ears. It did not stop though. It was intensified, along with laughter raging in her blood.

"Stop it" She shouted.

"Nurse, are you alright?"  the policeman asked.

Hazel opened her eyes, she could see Ahana in the patients ward, sleeping. She looked at the police, he was coming close to her.
Kill the patient.. Kill her... You will be even more beautiful...

Hazel harked to the demonic whispers. Then she turned her head to Ahana's innocent face. Ahana was glamorous, her silky black hair, her beautiful skin moisture was soft and fair. Such a pretty woman. Hazel's eyes was filled with jealousy.

Yeah, kill her and you will be even more beautiful than her.

"Excuse me" Hazel left the ward. Heading herself into the restroom. Why was the whispers only cuffing her in a trap? Hazel leaned over the mirror and caught her ugly face. She had pimples, dark neckline. Hazel's eyes had started to darken. Why am I not pretty?

You will be... Only if you kill Ahana..

"How can I kill her?" Hazel spoke.

The restroom became dark, as the lights flickered.

Come closer to the mirror..

Hazel leaned in close, staring into her reflection. The lights went out and came back in a blink of an eye. Hazel's eyes widened when she leaned closer to the mirror. There was a slit mouth woman, staring at back at her. Her jaws were dripping blood, her eyes were dark. It was a spirit, trying to posses Hazel.

Upon seeing the devil, Hazel tried to scream but her vocal cord was interrupted once the woman whispered in ears.

We will kill Ahana together now..

With just one flinch, the woman travelled her soul into Hazel's body, causing Hazel to collapse on the floor.

The policeman leaned back on his seat next to Ahana's bed, mediating. Hazel slipped in the room without any noise. She set the tray of huge injection needle on the corner and stood there. Hazel had her back turned as she slowly grabbed a cudgel under the tray. She started breathing heavily.

Heavy breaths had waken Ahana, she opened her eyes only to be greeted by horrible woman who had no mouth and jaw. The woman was over Ahana's body with the cudgel raised up, near to attack.

"Why are you so beautiful?" The woman whispered, blood started to dribble onto Ahana's face.

The mouldering smell filled the room as the policeman covered his nose. Opening his eyes to see a unexplained slit mouthed woman, dribbling blood above Ahana.

Ahana punched the woman in her eyes as she helped herself get off the bed. The spirit screamed in anger and despair. It held the cudgel up close and flung it against Ahana's chest.

Dodging the cudgel, Ahana caught the same cudgel from aloft. Turning back, she flung herself against the spirit. Ahana pushed the woman off the bed, falling over her on the floor. The spirit thrusts hard and strangled Ahana's neck. Ahana choked, as her hands rose above the spirit's head.

The policeman fired out his gun and shot the spirit dead. It let go of Ahana's neck, and collapsed. Then again, it can not die easily. The spirit flounced up and dug her sharp fingers in Ahana's neck, scratching it deeper and longer. Ahana shrieked as her neck started to bleed.

The police shot twice and repeatedly until he ran out. The spirit glared at him in rage. The man shuddered at her gaze, taking a step back. Ahana put her full force and irately stabbed the spirit's eye. Blood flipped over Ahana's face as she continually kept on stabbing the whole face of the spirit.

The spirit was gone and what was felt behind was Hazel's body. Ahana moved back, leaning against the bed handle. She gave the police a flinty stare. She gulped her spit exhaustedly.  "Water?"

The man stared with his jaw dropped open. Then seeing Ahana in a frazzle state, the police rushed to get bottle of water.

"How did you?"

"Kill her?" Ahana cut off the man. She leaned back on the chair settled outside on the hospital. It was a bright morning. Perfect sky blue clouds. Then she took deep breaths of the fresh air.  "Elegant.. "

"If I understood who are you or where you're from.. I might actually arrest you.." The police said. "But thank you for saving my life.. And I might be giving you a chance to escape this mess"

"What do you mean by arrest me?"

"The law.. " He sighed and stood up, staring at the sky clouds. "I will give you a chance and you can leave.. The cops won't take you in cause' I'll have it covered over. "

"But I need to find my sword... Last night I had collapsed and my sword was with me.. Where is it?" Ahana's conscious grew.

"Your sword? Are you a warrior?" He asked and giggled. "You will need a gun and self defense arts..That only I know"

"I need my sword.." Ahana started to search the area. "Bring me my sword"

The man slowly revealed the sword from his back T-shirt and handled it over to Ahana. "Good thing the cops haven't seen it.. Its so heavy and looks so dangerous. They might take you in jail thinking you're a criminal.."

Ahana held the hilt and caressed its sharp steel. She then thanked the police. Leaving him behind, she turned to walk forward when she heard the man's voice.

"By the way, I'm Ryan"

"My name is Ahana Emerson" She turned back and smiled. Then they nodded and she left.
