PART 9

Next day it was Kaira's Sangeet.
The lawn was beautifully decorated with lights and flowers. The theme of Sangeet was blue. Everyone was in blue outfits. Naira was looking gorgeous in her blue lehenga.

Raj and Sakshi were hosting the sangeet.
Raj- So guys are you ready for a great night ahead.
Everyone hoots.
Sakshi- Ok ok But whatever Groom's side is going to win.
Raj- No ways the Bride's side is going to win.
Sakshi- Let's see.
Raj- Yeah let's see.
Both of them go then girls Sam Ish Arohi and Karishma Riya come on the stage and dance on Chittiyan Kallaiya. Then the boys Rohan Samrat Raj Yash and Bhavin join them on the stage and they dance on the song Pallo Latake.
Everyone claps for them.
Sakshi comes on the stage
Sak- Your performance was ok ok now let's move to our dance.
Raj- It is so sad that you are alone performing from your side.
Sak- Who said I am alone.
Raj- Means..
Sakshi- You will know and bhai this one is for you.
She goes. The lights get off. Music starts playing.. The song Chori Chori starts playing...
Sakshi begins to dance but suddenly to boys join her....Karan gets surprised to see them.
After the song ends everyone starts clapping for them... Karan goes and hugs both oc them.
Karan- You both said you are not going to come.
Boy1- Hamare yaar ki shaadi ho aur hum na aaye aisa ho sakta hai.
Boy2- Tu hamare bina shaadi kar lega yeh hum hone nahi denge.
Samrat comes there...
Samrat- Rahul Soham....
He goes and hugs them.
Samrat- I am so happy to meet you... We missed you both so much.
The boys are Rahul and Soham. Karan and Samrat's best friends. Both were in New York for some business for more than a year.
Karan- But your business.
Rahul- Jaise hi hume pata chala ki hamara dost shaadi kar raha hai humne sab kaam khatam kar loye.
Soham- Ha or jaldi se wapas aa gaye.
Rahul- Humne tumhe ek saal ke liye chod kya diya tune to hume dhoka hi de diya..
Soham- (dramatically)Humara pati hume chodke kisi or se shaadi kar raha hai.... Kya kami reh gayi thi hume ke tumhe kisi teesre ke paas jana pada...
Rahul- Samrat hum isse tumhare bharose chodkar gaye the lekin tumhine hume dhoka diya...
Soham- Apne hi behen ke saath isse phasa diya...
Samrat chuckles
Everyone laughs at them.
Naira- Rahul bhai Soham bhai...
She goes and hugs them.
Naira- I missed you.
Rahul- Dikh raha hai kitna miss kiya.
Soham- Hume tumse yeh umeed nahi thi doll.
Naira smiles fakely.
Samrat- Dramebaaz
Raj then comes on stage.
Raj- Ab dulhe ke liye surprise ho gaya ab dulhan ki baari hai.
Naira looks at him. The lights gets off. Yash comes on the stage and starts dancing on the song Dilliwalli Girlfriend. He brings Naira to dance with him..Karan looks at them irritatingly.
Rahul whispers to him.
Rahul- Abey yeh kaun hai kabab mein haddi.
Karan- Uska best friend.
Rahul- Yeh best friend bohot dangerous hote hai.. Isse jara bachke rehna.
Karan doesn't say anything and just looks at them dancing.
The song ends and Naira hugs Yash. Everyone claps for them.
Sakshi and Raj come back to the stage.
Sakshi- Ab hum youngsters ne to apni performance kar li ab baari hai bujurgo ki. So a round applause for all the bujurg log.
Tej Anjali Vikram and Suman come on the stage and perform on Navrai majhi and London Thumkda. Everyone cheer for them.
After their performance.
Raj - Ok so now it is time for the special performance of the night.
Sakshi- Yes so everyone cheer for the Bride and Groom.
Naira and Karan get surprised and look at each other. Everyone starts cheering for them. Karan forwards his hands. Naira looks at him then looks at his hand. She har hand to him. They both go to the stage. Humsafar song plays in the background. Both get lost in each other's eyes. They dance along the rhythm. The song ends and everyone starts clapping for them. Both come to their senses.
Raj- What a romantic performance guys..
The Sangeet ends with everyone happily enjoying.

Next day
It was Kaira's haldi.
Kaira was looking gorgeous in her yellow lehenga with flowers jewellery. Karan was wearing a yellow sherwani.
Both were made to sit beside each other. Anjali came forward and applied haldi to Karan then to Naira. Like this everyone came forward and applied haldi to both of them. At the end Yash came. He was smiling mischievously. Naira looks at him and realises his intentions.
Naira - Yash no
Yash- Yes
Naira- Yash nahi.l
Yash doesn't listen to him and applies haldi on her whole face. Naira gets irritated and throws haldi on him. Everyone laughs looking at them. While Karan fumes in anger.
After haldi both of them were sent to rooms to get freshen up. Naira moves to her room. Karan goes behind her to the guest room. While going Naira's leg slips. Karan who was behind her holds her by waist. Naira puts her hand around his neck to balance herself. Haldi on Karan's hand which was around her waist gets applied to Naira. While haldi which was on Naira's hands gets applied to his neck. Both come to their senses and part away. Naira leaves from there to her room. Karan goes to the guest room. Naira goes near the mirror and looks at her waist where the haldi was applied. Karan also looks at his neck in the mirror Both were thinking about the recent incident. Karan smiles thinking about it. Naira comes after freshening up. She sees Yash who was in the corridor. She goes to him.
Naira- Yash mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai.
Yash- Ha bol na
Naira- Yaha nahi chal mere saath.
She holds his hand and take him to her room.
Karan who was coming from the guest room sees this. He angrily goes from there.
In Naira' room.
Yash- Kya hua Naira. Tu itni serious kyun hai.
Naira- Tu bata kya hua hai. Maa or papa haldi mein kyun nhi aaye. Nahi Mehendi or Sangeet mein.
Yash- Tujhe bola na papa ki tabiyat thodi kharab hai isliye woh dono nahi aaye.
Naira- Jhoot sach sach bata mujhe yash.
Yash(sighs) - Woh Dadj ke wajah se.
Naira- Mujhe laga hi tha. Yash Dadi ko jo karna tha woh kar liya. Ab main kuch sunne wali nahi hu. Maa or papa kal mere shaadi mein aane chahiye nahi to main yeh shaadi nahi karungi.
Yash- yeh tu kya keh rahi hai.
Naira- Main kuch nahi janti...
Saying so she leaves from there.
