Letters from the Void

One Day I Will Die.

It is a known fact that we don't choose our whereabouts when we are born.

There is no liberty: we're kept by our surroundings, our families, our countries without being able to escape or without being able to choose if we wanted to be born in the first place.

Linked to other humans.

Humans that get attached to you the same way they would get attached to their cellphones.

moving in quicksands.

Even the hand of a nation is insufficient to get us out.

prisoners.

A bird in a cage.

In a stained and repugnant world.

There is no rock bottom to hit anymore.

only one hope, purity.

Unfortunately in this hierarchy of animals it is insignificant.

It is useless to talk or to scream.

Or even to express ourselves in other ways, a message that we didn't learn to listen to.

A message?

It is an idea, object, or other that is transferred from one human being to another.

But it is no longer useful.

It doesn't matter what we do, they won't listen to us.

We always assume something is up when there isn't, or perhaps that there's a reason behind each action a human makes, a reason that would only benefit him and not us.

A reason that might be nonexistent?

We never accepted simplicity, purity, reality and that is why we have the urge to destroy, to deny the facts behind it, or to turn a blind eye on it.

Even if it is banal.

"Behind each joy, laugh and love actions hides dark intentions" told the others.

This hinders the path to create healthy relationships.

It instead disorganizes everything built between two humans.

Words are said to have their own definitions and are used in this purpose.

Alas nowadays words aren't that important anymore.

By dint of staying locked up in the same cage even if it is as big as a country, we only wish for it to end.

By dint of seeing everything, found by the power of one-click we loose interest and gluttony.

What's the purpose of discovering and exploring this world if you can do it by staying seated.

If your thoughts are that being physically present and virtually is not the same thing, then think no more.

It is completely, being physically there doesn't change the fact that you already saw it on pictures, tv, etc... and for some reason, sight is one of our dominant senses.

seeing, listening and learning can be done while sitting in front of a screen.

those three ideas result in other faculties such as tasting, touching, and others.
