Chapter 6

MONA'S POV

Its been four months since I got to Cypress and exams are coming up and then we go for a month break. To be honest, I have had the best days at Cypress, hanging out with Tyler and he already made his way to be my best friend.Maddie got a boyfriend and she stays at his place most of the time. Its pretty surprising she wants to do everything for him, always be with him and all because she didn't seem like the type in the beginning and with what she said she had been through, I thought she wouldn't stand the sight of boys but guess I'm wrong.

I'm not a preacher of love, yea I have had my fair share in relationships but it hasn't just been the best for me. I get giddy the first month or week then bored later on, maybe I was just infatuated but I have this guy who is all over me lately but I'm not sure if he's IT but oh well, I'm gonna see how it goes..

Currently I'm in my room,studying
for the upcoming exams. Since Maddie has somehow moved to her boyfriend's place, I've got the room to myself and didn't see the need to go to the roof as earlier planned either way works for me. *ping* the sound of my phone's message alert came off. I picked my phone to see and it was Wilson, my prospective boyfriend.

Wilson: Hey babe, what you doing?
Before I could reply, another message
Wilson: I've missed you, you couldn't even text me.. You hurt me Lisa 😪💔
Really??
Me: Hey, sorry been studying
Wilson :Awwn sorry babe wish I could cone over there and give u a massage ;-)

Wilson doesn't go to my school, actually he finished college already and has a job-ish. He was kind of dominant and too uptight and I was trying to make him realize that life wasn't that hard, he behaves too old for his age and acts like we in the 60s. But like I said I'm testing the waters.
I dropped my phone and continued studying.

I was still studying when I heard a loud knock on my door.
"Oh, God" I murmured and stood up from my reading table and went to open the door much to my surprise to see Tyler with a box of pizza.
"There's my favorite bitch"he squealed like a girl to which I rolled my eyes how .
I ushered him in while he set the pizza down and went to the kitchen to grab something.
"Girl, what have you been doing? "
"Studying "

He opened the box and at the sight of the glorious pepperoni pizza, my stomach made a weird noise.  Thanks a lot tummy
"Whoa, hungry much? "
"Shut up, I have been studying and didn't get the time to eat"
"And since when have you been studying, dork" he smirked because he knew I hated been called a dork.
" First of, I'm not a dork and I started studying around 11 and that's like almost two hours "

Tyler looked at me like I just said the most stupidest thing ever which made me kind of awkward.
"Why are you looking at me like that"
He dropped the pizza he was eating and gave me a serious look, well now I'm nervous.
"You studied for five hours " he said calmly
"Huh?"
"Its almost five in the evening, not two"
What???  No wonder I was really hungry
"Ohh, guess I lost track of time"
" Look babe, its fine to study but don't let it affect your health. Take a break"
I nodded while taking a bite out of my pizza

We talked and laughed about the silliest things and he also helped me study by asking me questions on the things I've read. Tyler is very intelligent and funny which is plus for me. He was always there for me and ditto, I'm glad I met him and most importantly the fact that he's my friend.

He left for his dorm when it was getting late and now I'm left alone with my thoughts. I thought about my family, my life and my love life. Do I really need to have a boyfriend? Should I just tell Wilson i'm not ready? I erased the idea because why conclude on something yet to start, I'll just give it a trial. I checked my social media for a while before drifting to sleep.

Today is the last day of my exams and so far it has gone pretty well. I just finished my last exam and making my way back home when I heard my name being called, I turned around to find Tyler jogging towards me.
"Hey baby" he said hugging me
"Hey"
"How was your exam? "
"Great, yours? "
"It was good, were you gonna leave without me? "
Oops!!
"I'm sorry"
"It's fine, but you gonna pay for my food, wait here" he said walking away
Dang it!! What an asshole.

I was waiting for Tyler when I saw Jason on the other side laughing with his friends, he had a very cute smile and I mentally swoon.. Wait,Monalisa Anderson get yourself together.Tyler soon walked up to me and we left for our usual restaurant.

"I'm really gonna miss you " Tyler said on our way home.
"Same here, I'm gonna miss your jokes, your craziness and most importantly your stupidity " I know my last statement was gonna earn a glare but I decided to ignore it by keeping a straight face and looking at the road.
"My what??  If anyone is stupid, it's you Lisa. You my dear are very stupid"
"I'm so gonna kill you"
"You have to catch me first" he said sticking his tongue out at me
I wouldn't have been so annoyed  but he dared giving me a knock on my head and called me a short brat.
"Oh, it's so on and you are so dead" I said and ran after him.

I caught up with him after a while and that was because we were laughing during the chase and he got tired. I pushed him to the ground and he let out an "Oof" sound, I didn't care because I continued to hit him.

I'm pretty sure people passing would think we we're crazy but they were not wrong. I was having so much fun and Tyler was laughing like crazy not without mentioning that my small hands hitting him felt like a massage and that I should continue, I was beyond pissed, that asshole was meant to feel pain not enjoy it,I stood off him and walked away trying to hide my laughter because I was faking been angry.

"Lisa!! Wait up"
Hell no, I need an apology and also I'm still trying to hide my laughter.
"Lisa,are you mad at me? " he caught up with me and held my wrist stopping me from walking away.
Well, well, well, time for some acting.
"I shouldn't be? " I said in the most angriest tone and I saw him flinch. Oops sorry
"You insulted my stature, its not my fault I'm short and small and I really hate it when i'm bullied for it"
"Oh my God Lisa, I was kidding. I wasn't bullying you, not at all. I would never do that to you "
"Hmmph "
Dude, stop wasting time and give me a fucking apology.
"I'm serious Lisa, I'm sorry if I hurt you, I really am "
Finally!! 
"I'll take you out for dinner to show I'm really sorry " he said really calmly and I swear I saw his green eyes get glossy, awwnn my baby is gonna cry.
"Ok "
He hugged me and kept whispering that he's sorry and I couldn't take it any longer. I bursted out laughing.
"You little con, you played me"
"I tricked your dumbass " I said amidst laughs and almost choked on my laughter.
"Fuck you bitch".
"I'm still going to that dinner" I shouted
Tyler looked at me and looked at his watch and was counting down. What the hell is he-
"Oh shit" realization hit me as I took to my heels. I wasn't fast enough as Tyler picked me up and placed me over his shoulder, I'm so dead.

I'm gonna miss this idiot.
