Lucas FF || Long Distance Relationship

Prologue

Kim Min-ju's POV

Just after I heard the news from my mom, that my boyfriend, Lucas, was going to leave to study in another country, I immediately went to visit his house, which wasn't that far from mine.

"Ring! Ring!"

I pressed his doorbell a few times, until shortly after, Lucas opened the door. He looked a bit surprised, but then welcomed me in.

"Ah, Minju? Come in, come in!" He said to me as he led me to the living room. He sat on the sofa, and I did the same, sitting beside him. "Wait here"

Lucas suddenly stood up, and headed towards the kitchen. After a while, he came back with a box of chocolate biscuits, and put them on the table "Here, i brought your favourite snacks" He said, then sat back at the sofa

"Thankies" I said as i take one biscuit, and ate it.

"Hey minju.. I'm happy that you came here, but you could've told me first before visiting, you know"

"Heheheh, sorry for that. Anyways, Lucas, I actually came here to talk about something" I spoke as my expression turned more serious

"Hm?" He said while still munching a biscuit.

"So..I heard that you're going to leave to study in Canada for a few years" I said to him

Lucas stared at me with his mouth still munching. He then swallowed the biscuit, and replied.

"..Yeah. Actually my parents wanted me to study there until i reach college"

"But don't worry minjunie, we can still text and call each other"

"But still...I'm going to miss you" I said with a sad tone

"I know, I'm going to miss you too" He said while ruffling my hair, trying some kind of way to cheer me up. He kept ruffling them for a few seconds, before he stopped, then started talking.

"Two weeks" Those words came out from his mouth

"There's two weeks to spare before i leave, so why don't we make some memories with the time left?"

My frowned expression slowly turned into a smile, although I still felt a bit sad. I then pulled him into a hug.

"Yeah. Let's make lots, and lots of memories together, okay?" I said that while hugging him. He returned my hug, and nodded in silence.

We stayed comfortably in that position for a few min. "Should we watch some movies together?" I said as i slowly let go of the hug.

After hearing that, Lucas' face brightened up. "Of course yes!! What should we watch?" He asked enthusiastically

"A horror movie would be nice" I smirked at him. I knew that he was afraid of horror movies

Lucas felt a shiver. "Uh, a-anything but that. How about watching comedy instead? Or Sci-fi?"

"Horror!!" I insisted

"No!!"

And after some time arguing between horror movies or not, we finally somehow ended up watching horror. Throughout the entire movie, Lucas kept clenching on me tightly like some kind of koala.

And after a few hours, finally the movie ended. "gah...it's finally finished.." He stopped clenching on me.

"Hahahah, you looked very scared while watching it" I teased him. Lucas just crossed his arms, and pouted angrily. "Hahahah, you look very cute like this" I said while pointing at his pouted lips.

"By the way, Minjunie"

"Huh?"

"You don't wanna go home? It's already quite late" He pointed at the clock

"Ah, crap. It's already 10 pm? I should really go home now" I got off from the sofa, and headed to the front door.

"Wait, wait, let me walk you there" He walked ahead of me, and blocked the front door.

"No need for that, I can walk alone" I said to him

"No, it's not safe to walk alone late at night" He said while still blocking the door.

"Hah..okay, fine" I answered

Lucas then stopped blocking the door, and walked out of the house, grabbing my hand along with him as we walked together.

We kept on holding our hands together along the walk, while also talking about random things. And finally, we arrived at the front of my house.

Before i got inside, i gestured him to come closer.

"hey, come closer" I said to him

"Huh? Okay.." He came closer towards me, and just stood confusedly.

I then gave him a tight hug. "A last hug for today, hehe." He felt a bit surprised at first, but then he hugged me back. This time, the hug didn't take long. Just a quick, simple one before he let go of the hug.

"I'm going inside, bye luke" I said while giving him a smile.

"Yeah, bye bye!" He smiled back,  before turning around, heading back to his own house.

I then opened the door, and sneaked up to my room, being careful not to wake anyone up at this hour.

I then finally got inside my room, and jumped towards the bed. "Hoam..." I let out a yawn, feeling sleepy. I took and covered myself with a blanket, and slowly drift myself to sleep.
