"So you like him?" Asked Bev we were at the park.
"No I DO not he's gross!"
"That's not what you said the other day Eddie" Bev turned so she was facing me.
"No that's bull! I like girls.......with there ummmmm" I was thinking really hard of something I liked about girls, but nothing came to mind except this one girl who I liked, shortly after realized that I only liked her because she looked like if Richie was a girl.
"Eddie if you like Richie it's ok I expect you for you" Beverly said which took me out of my own thoughts.
"Marsh I don't like him" I was really trying over here.
"Eddie stop lying please and just tell the truth...." she looked at me warm heartedly, I took a deep breath in and said "ok I do BUT if you tell him or anything that breathes I'm talking your knee caps!" I said as I swung on the swing.
"EDS!" I herd Richie yell at me, as he made his way crosse the road and to the swings.
"Oh hi Rich" Beverly said
" hay marsh" Richie said
"Hey Richie" I said
"So Eds who's that girl you were with?" Richie asked and I think he's referring to Anna.
"Oh Anna?" I said
"Ya who is she?" Richie asked
"Oh she's a girl who I met on the bus" I said kicking the loose rocks beneath me "she's new and we got to know each other on the bus why?" He seemed so interested in Anna.
"Can I ask you why you weren't hanging out with us Eds?" Richie's voice was laced with concern.
"Ummm that's kinda just a me thing sorry Rich" I answered
"Oh like how your mom and I fucking is just a me thing?" Richie said
"That's so not funny" I replied
"Omg trashmouth" Beverly laughed out.
3 1/2 hours later
"See ya Richie!" Bev called out
"Bye Bev" Richie yelled back
It was just me and Richie, Richie and I, Chee and Eds, Eds and Chee. We were sitting in silence complete and udder silence, it wasn't like a awkward silence it was nice, pecful and at this very moment all I could think about was Richie, that dumb raven haired clown was all I could think of.
"Eds?" Richie has broke the silence
"Ya Rich" I stopped swinging.
"I don't think I like Connor anymore......" Richie looked at his feet with guilt in his eyes.
"Well I think you should tell him, people loose feelings for others all the time." I looked up at him but I don't think my talk worked.
Richie looked up at me and spoke "no.....I meant........I.......I don't think there were feelings in the first place...."
I was so confused "what? Richie I thought you loved him..........."
