Luke's POV
"Do I have to go?" I said, talking about my new school. I just moved from Australia to North Carolina. "LUKE, you're going to be late" my mom screamed as she is running to the car.The main office people tell me just to go to my first period class, so I did. The teacher seemed nice, but way to smiley for 7:30 in the morning. When a bell rings kids start to come into the class. No one really notices me, but I noticed someone, she was kinda tall, with dirty blonde hair, and a Blink-182 shirt. She sat right next to me and for a moment I felt her stare at me. I was going to say something, but then the teacher called my name and motioned me to stand up. "Hi...I-I'm Lu-Luke" I stuttered a little bit cause I was nervous, it's not everyday you move to a country and have to start school in the middle of the year. Class ended, and the teacher pulled me and that girl I saw to the side and explained how Brooke, that's the girls name, is going to be showing me around. Something about Brooke makes me feel comfortable, which is nice. she introduces herself "Hi...I'm Brooke.", so I also introduce myself "Hi, I'm Luke." I say more calmly than I did in class. She isn't like everyone I saw today, she's different, but in a good way and I can't figure it out, but somehow I feel like me and her are alike.
