lightbulb's POV (point of view)

          Me and all of the contestants were sitting around a TV in hotel OJ.

some of us were sitting on the floor, some pulled up chairs to watch, but me and painty were living the high life on the couch, we were also sitting with our bright light buds test tube, fan, marshmallow, and apple. We were all sitting down enjoying local 58 news when suddenly paper changed the channel, no one was in the mood to argue with him so we all watched whatever channel he turned it to. On the screen there was an ad to go to some big island that was called Danger Grove, the guy in the ad kept rambling on about the adventures you could take there, apparently Danger Grove lived up to it's name by being the most dangerous island in the whole Inanimate planet. "They had the highest kidnapping rate in the entire universe!" as they put it. This caught everyone's attention, all except me and test tube, in my head this island seemed like a set up chain of kidnappings that were fake just to make it seem like they had a large kidnapping spree, but apparently test tube had just thought it wasn't safe, good old test tube, always so logical, no wonder fan is really into her, he loves patterns and logic, but test tube is just into the logical part of it.

test tube's POV

          This ad seemed to keep everyone occupied, I tried to get fan's attention by tapping him on the shoulder, no reply, I tried to do the same thing with all the other bright lights that were currently on the couch, still no reaction. I did this to all of the objects in the room that were watching the TV, none of them moved. When I got to lightbulb it was obvious that she wasn't watching the ad, she was looking at it, but she was the only one moving, she moved her hand so it was on her chin so she looked like the thinking face emoji. I tapped her shoulder. "Hey tube! whatch'a need?"she replied, smiling. I had no idea how to answer her, but I knew that I had to speak truthfully because lightbulb has some sort of way of knowing if you aren't telling the truth. "well, everybody seems to be deeply into the ad on the television right now, so I was checking who was zoning out and who was not interested in the ad, and it turns out that we are the only ones who have a lower interest in the ad." I replied. She seemed bored, so I decided to speak up. I asked lightbulb to help me with it. "sure I'll help!" lightbulb replied joyously. I cleared my throat, "excuse me" I whispered politely, then again a little louder, once again, a little louder that the last time... I kept going until lightbulb raced over and whispered into my ear, "you need to use your speaker voice to get their attention!" lightbulb said. "like this!" she near shouted, "hey guys, we need your attention!" at that moment everybody looked from the screen to light bulb and test tube. "we've noticed that all of you are really interested in that ad, so that brought up the question..." I said at a normal volume. "who wants to go to this creepy island?!" I asked using lightbulbs speaker voice. At that moment everybody started talking about the island, most people raised their hands. "We might as well go, all of our friends are going." lightbulb said to me. I agreed reluctantly, not knowing what to expect.

suitcase's POV

          I don't know what happened but I do know that the ad had a way of hypnosis, I couldn't take my gaze away from it, even when test tube tapped my shoulder, I wanted to reply so I wasn't being rude, but I couldn't move at all, the only moment I could move was when lightbulb and test tube went in front of the whole group and half shouted at us. At that moment I turned to balloon and asked him if he wanted to go. "Only if you are going." he replied, "Only if the alliance is going, I feel like I stepped all over it when I voted for nickel, so I want to make it up to them somehow during the trip."  Now it seemed as if everyone was going to go, including nickel and baseball, so I would have to go because I keep my word, and since I was going, balloon would keep his word as well and go with us. "me and test tube can look for a good place for us to stay!" fan said. We all went to pack while test tube and fan were looking for an airbnb, when fan screamed so loud that balloon almost popped, "found one!!!" fan had yelled. Everyone zipped to the living room to see what the place fan chose looked like, he projected it to the TV, it looked amazing, the best part was that it didn't cost as much as another airbnb in the area. This place looked like a large manor, it had 14 bathrooms, 16 bedrooms that all had 2 beds in each one, and a lot more things that made this manor look like paradise. It was great. We all decided to stay at this place for the next few days. OH SHOOT! We forgot to decide how long we were going to stay.

I brought it up to their attention.

"hey guys!" I said loudly "I just realized that we never decided on how long we want to stay!"

at that moment everybody realized that as well, and thus, started chatting about it. I'll never get their attention now I thought. I sat down on the couch, looking out towards the sea of objects yelling over each other. I was thinking of a good amount of time to stay at the island for when I saw knife jump up onto a chair and started yelling for everyone to "shut up!" as he put it.  Everybody, including me, went quiet to listen to what he had to say.
