After Josh's dad, I was shaken, and in pain. I knew that my power caused me pain...though no one seemed to know why. But I still walked with Ray to his fathers house, thankfully their relationship was much better.
Ray stood at the door for a few minutes talking with his father. Ray, being only 13, was the youngest, and the most innocent. He had a decent childhood and was a really carefree person. His father refused to surrender and bid us farewell.
Next I went with Major, on the way there I felt myself change into a female. I winced slightly with the change. The pain was harsh, but I was used to it.
We walked up to the door where Major's mother stood, waiting. She looked directly at me, trying to take control, her power allowed her to take control of one person. I tried to keep a clear head, to not lose myself to her. Major has a similar power, but it's very weak, so I struggled to keep my mind to myself. I fell down onto my knees my head in my hands. Major looked at me then turned to his mother and pulled out his gun, "go inside, now!" He said.
She gritted her teeth, "stupid girl, you will fall to me" she said to me. I was struggling, barely keeping myself.
"NOW!" Major yelled startling his mother so she lost her grip on my mind. She stepped back inside. "Now, I'm going to leave, you try that again and I will shoot you" Major said before walking over to me, he helped me stand.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't more help" I said simply.
"Actually, you were plenty help, without you she could have tricked me" Major smiled.
