Melanie POV:
It was a Friday and it was storming outside. It was currently 2am and Layla was trying to sleep but everytime the thunder crashed she would jump. I giggled cause she was adorable. I said, "Princess, want me to turn the TV up?" She said, "Yes, please." She sounded sleep deprived. I turned the TV up a bit and she moved closer to me. She muzzled her face in the covers and slowly drifted off to sleep.
1 hour later.
I felt her stirring a bit. I looked over and she was tossing and turning. She quickly moved close to me and held onto my arm. She calmed down a bit but still stirred.
About 5 minutes later I heard her say, "Please, no." I look over to see her crying. I wiped her tears away and accidentally woke her up. She shot up and was heavily breathing. She looked at me and scooted closer. I took her head into my arms and played with her hair to calm her down. I quietly whispered, "Its gonna be ok, it was just a dream."
She looked up at me with tears going down her face. I made a pouting face and said, "Its alright, princess. Its gonna be okay." She soon calmed down a bit. She looked at me and smiled. She wrapped her hands around my waist and laid on my chest. She said, "I dont wanna go back to sleep." I laughed and said, "Your ok, ill wake you up if you start stirring." She nodded and slowly drifted to sleep. She slept peacefully for the entire night after that.
Idrk how I feel about this one but, eH.
