Song of Death

I'm sitting in front of my vanity table while hugging my legs thinking the connections of some aristocrats with my sisters death, i have learned that she was searching for something before she died, there most be some point of connections.

I looked into the person that combing my hair while looking at me, i know that look at his face. i sighed as i thought where will it be headed.

"I know that kind of look, Reinus"

He stop combing my hair and turn me to face him"I understand that you want them those person to be punish, but you're putting yourself into danger, i can protect you be your shield but what will happened when i'm awa—"

"Have you forgotten who i am? i'm not a damsel in distress, i cant wield a sword" i rolled my eyes as i said that.

"If only you let me help you, its already 2 years. I can help you just let me" he hugged me as i stay quiet, i can't put him into risk, right now i know that those people will make a move to kill me. Not to mention that may some of aristocrats is involve his position will be questioned. Even being with him in public is risky what more with this.

"Dumbass, kaya ko. Nga pala ilang marriage proposal na ba ang tinakasan mo ha" his been rejecting every one of woman that offers to marry him, funny because he look like scared of being tie with it.

He frowned and look at me "Can't you marry me? Mas kaya ko pa ata kung ikaw yun eh" i laughed at him, despite that i like him. I know he only see me as his sister, yeah and someday he would find the right person eventually.

"I'm afraid due to my circumstances i can't"

He then comb my hair, every night he would come to my room just to comb my hair and talk to me, i smile as i remember the first time he looked into me, different from how he look to me now.

"Do you remember when we first met? Very different from now, you used to look at me with a cold eyes"

"Yea and you used to hate me to death too. Naalala ko ayaw na ayaw mo'ng may humahawak ng buhok mo but you end up liking me doing your hair" since i got comfortable with him he is the one who would do my hair everytime their would be a party.

"Come on, it's getting late. Humiga kana" He covered me with my blanket as i laid down to my bed and kiss my forehead. "Goodnight, see you in next 2 weeks"

I smile as i drifted asleep, being like this with him is already enough. Oh how i wish he feel the same way too.

I woke up as i heard a commotion outside my door, what the hell is that.

As i comb my hair i heard a loud banged in my door.

"I'm sorry but you can't enter!"

Most be Helen, i open the door only to see some knights and Helen who look like stoping them from entering.

"Make sure it's important, or your head will be in the floor." i coldly said.

"Lady Cordelia Amelia Travia, you are arrested for committing a crime at our country.

"What the hell?! What kind of fucking jokes is this!" i said with my mad voice.

Ni isa sa kanila ay di nagsalita, they just dragged me out and throw to a carriage and tie me with a rope.

Damn it, naunahan nila ako those bastard now i'm sure that they most be from the high society to be able to pull this.

Everything is blurred with me days has passed when they throw me into jail, they would only send me a water, my nightdress is filled with dirt already and i'm losing my strength as days passed.

Some guards would come here and torture me and asking me what sin i have brought and i answer them with 'i have not' until i passed out

Reinus where are you?

My family wouldn't even visit me, guess they really like the idea of me stock here.

I looked i saw some guard enter to my jail and harshly pulled me out "Where." i weakly ask one of them.

"I used to like you because of braveness and smartness, di ko lang inaasahan na masahol kang babae. Paano mo naatim na patayin ang kapatid mo at mag rebelde sa bayan natin" one of them said.

What the hell?

I wanted to scream at him and tell him i didn't but i couldn't with my strength, i everything went fast. I just realize that i'm infront of everyone and everyone is screaming and throwing something to me.

"This woman shall be example of everyone who would try to commit such a big crime to our Empire"

Tears falls down to my eyes, i haven't done everything. Amethyst and Reinus face flashed to my mind. I'm sorry.

Gone the fancy dress and the strong look, replaces by a shabby dress and bruises all over her face.

How the hell did i end up here?

"Lady Cordelia Amelia Transivia proven guilty of treason leading a rebellion and killing her own sister Lady Amethyst Angel Transivia, and sentence to beheaded" the executioner said.

No i didn't!

Halos mabingi ako sa narinig ko, hindi pa ako pwedeng mamatay i haven't found the person who order to kill Amy. Tears stream down more to my face as i realize that i failed Amy, i promise her that i will find justice for her death but now i'm helpless not even my family can help, if only i could turn back the time.

I looked at the crest of our kingdom, corruption and evilness filled this kingdom inside, how i wish Reinus can help this replenish the honor and holiness of this kingdome. May prosperity and holiness filled Signos Kingdom.

I looked at the crowd only to see a smirking Duke, he is Amy's fiancé before she died, how could he smile like that to me?

"This is the reason why you shouldn't get yourself involve in your sisters death" The executioner whispered to me, i want to shout curse him but i'm tired.

I close my eyes as i feel the sword in my neck and i heard a sound of dust like it was falling in the ground.

I cast a strong spell and reverse the hourglass, this should make you safe again. I smile as i see that the hourglass slowly disappear to my hand, a lone tears stream down to my eyes with the sight.
