Chapter 13

Harry's POV

"I'm sorry"

-Niall

"Fuck" I cursed running a hand through my hair angry that Niall of all people would betray my pack.

"Where the fuck is Niall!" I heard Zayn growl from behind me, grabbing the note out of my hands.

"Zayn no, Stop!" I shouted grabbing onto Zayn as his eyes turned red and he was about to shift. "You can't go after him, its to dangerous"

"I'm not going to go after him" Zayn started before a sinister grin appeared on his face. "I'm going to kill him"

"What do you mean? He's your mate, you love him. You said he was pregnant, you can't hurt him now" I said, hoping to god Zayn was joking.

"I don't give a fuck anymore. A person who helps Payne is an enemy of mine" Zayn growled before shoving me off of him.

"You idiot! The only reason he left is because of your stubborn ass. You think beating the shit out of him was going to make him love you! I heard him that day, how he screamed his safeword and you didn't even stop. He's broken and it's all your fault!" I screamed angrily.

"He needed to learn his place" Zayn argued, like it was a normal thing to beat your mate.

"Niall looked up to you. He loved you so much and was proud to walk around with your collar on his neck. But when he defends his friend, mymate, you thought it was a good idea to scare the living shit out of him. He left because he's scared that you're going to do it again, maybe worse than the last time" I exclaimed. "You have no right to be mad that he left when you're the one that caused it"

"You have no right to tell me what I did wrong when you're no better than me. Now if you excuse me I have a little pest to get rid of" Zayn growled angrily, running out of the room.

"I swear to god Zayn if you touch him, I'll kill you myself"

Niall's POV

I panted as I ran through the forest, my legs already screaming at me to stop running and take a break. Although I knew that Harry already knew what I did and is probably looking for me right now.

'You better hope that you're on Payne's property before  I get to you because once I get my hands on you. You'll be begging me to kill you'  Zayn's voice filled my head.

I whimpered in fear and ran faster than before only having a few more miles left before I reached the end of Harry's territory.

'Oh Niall, it's sad that you thought you could out run me. Look behind you'  Zayn spoke calmly and I stopped running in fear.

I turned around and shrieked as I saw Zayn's form standing a few feet behind me.

"Zayn" I squeaked out backing up when he stepped forward before my back hit up against a tree.

"You used to be such a good boy, what happened?" He mumbled, hands running up the sides of my body.

"Y-you hurt m-me-e" I cried out as his claws dug into my thighs ripping the flesh.

"What made you think that going with Payne was going to keep you safe. You know how much I hate him" he whispered into my ear, planting a small kiss against the side of my neck causing me to shiver.

"S-Stop"

"Your mind says no, but your body says yes" Zayn chuckled.

"No you're mean and I don't like the way you treat me. You don't love me" I shouted angrily pushing him away from me, finally getting enough courage to stick up for myself. "I'm sick of you bossing me around. I loved you and you treated me like garbage and I can't take it anymore!"

Zayn stared at me with wide shocked eyes, almost like he didnt know that I had the ability to stand up for myself.

"Going with Liam is the only way I can get away from your abuse" I whispered, reaching up and unhooked the collar that was around my neck tossing it at Zayn. 

Zayn caught it and when I knew he was too distracted looking at the collar I shifted into my wolf and ran the rest of the way to Liam's territory.

I am free.
