Juan was determined to get to the top of the drug trade. The same job that made him look at himself in a different way, almost as if questioning his own right to freedom. But it made him power hungry, always wanting more. "This job is unforgiving," he thought to himself. "But it made me".
Juan was right, without the drugs he would not be known. To himself, or to others. He found his place, in the vast desert hills of Colorado, managing the slums owned and controlled by his cartel.

Life is always at stake in Juan's position. Law enforcement poses a major threat to him and those who make his money. Rivals, specifically cartels located in Mexico are in a constant battle over territories. Those who run the drug trade keep everything in a careful position so as to not go down.

Many lives are taken in these disputes. The slums in Mexico are known for poverty and violence. Through all of it, those who run the show are separated from those who don't. Some gain notoriety and power. Some fall. The trade holds it together.
