"Hello, I'm Jace" He shook my Hand.
I was confused when Jace introduced himself to me. I was about to tell my dad that we know each other, when He mouthed 'go with the flow'. My brows shot up at him and he laughed, Loud enough for me to hear.
"Hi Jace, I'm Madison. Nice to meet you!" I Said with a hint of sarcasm.
"He's a grade 12 student, Madi. You really don't know him?" Dad Said
"Nope" I said popping the 'P'
"I don't see him around" I glared at Jace who was trying not to burst out laughing. Ang lakas ng trip nito!
"It's probably because he's studying" His dad chuckled.
"Right, Cullen?" Mr. Garcia added.
Jace's grin disappeared, and his eyes looked angry.
"Jace is the next CEO of our company. He has to Study hard, We have no room for failures" Mr. Garcia raised both of his brows and smiled at me obviously Attacking Jace with his words.
Jace furrowed his brows, and he tightened his grip on his bag. He Closed his eyes looking down, then walked away.
We were looking at him walking away.
"Oh! Dad and Tito, I-i need to go na" I stuttered because of the awkward atmosphere.
"Bye 'nak" Dad Kissed my forehead. By the look in his eyes, he felt bad for Jace. It must be sad na pine-pressure siya ng dad niya. I know dad will never pressure me, and he will support me on my decisions.
"What Happened Kay Jace?" Bri asked me, while She was waving at Tito Marcel.
"Yeah! kanina mukhang natatawa pa siya, pero he looks pissed na." Dagdag ni Adi
"I don't know. Probably mood swings?" I Just Said, not wanting to tell them about Jace's situation.
"Wow, daig pa ako" Natatawang sabi ni Bri
"Let's go na nga!" I rolled my eyes at them, andaming ebas!
Adi and I went to the Azul HQ while Bri went to the Oro HQ located at the First floor, Main building.
Wala pang masyadong Tao sa Azul, sobrang aga ko kase. BUT that is totally Fine! I don't want to see Mr. Seasoning's face again.
"Where's Jace?" I asked Adi when I noticed na wala pa siya dito. I Hope he's okay na.
"Yie, Concered!" Adi Said hitting my shoulders.
"Tanga, tinatanong ko lang" I fastly said.
"Defensive ka pa jan, akala ko ba crush mo" Adi chuckled.
"Yan na Oh, bebe mo" Adi pointed
"GAGA WAG MO ITURO KASE!" I whispered at her, pulling her hair. Mas naging awkward pa when Jace sat beside us, putting his airpods on.
Adi pointed him with a confused look, and I laughed
"Hoy" I wave my hands sa harap ng mukha ni Jace
"Hoytdog hoytdigididog" He Said, singing the mickey mouse song.
"Wow ha" Adi gave a disgusted look playfully
"What?" Jace said, glaring.
"Ikaw na nga naki-upo tas attitude ka pa jan" Adi said.
I didn't say anything nalang. I know na he was in a Bad mood.
"Tara Adi, Canteen" I told Adi. Baka kase mas ma-inis si Jace Pag kinukulit siya.
"Jace pabantay ng bag ko ha" I asked him a favor while waiting for Adi to get her Wallet.
He gave me a thumbs up, while his eyes still focused on his phone.
"Hattitude, parang atabs!" Adi said with her brows furrowed.
"Taba?" I asked
"Bata kase, gagi" She laughed at me
We went sa cafeteria to tambay, It was early pa naman. Adi bought chips and I ate my oatmeal bar.
"Wow, umagang umaga chips kaagad." I said making a shook face
"Cheat day kase sis" She proudly said.
"Ikaw nga puros oatmeal bar eh, tuloy para kang stick." She added, stuffing her mouth with chips
"Excuse me?!" I placed my Hand on my Chest to pretend that I was shocked.
"I eat canton almost everyday kaya!" I added, and Adi shrugged.
"Oh nga pala, nakamove on ka na?" I said smirking
"Psh, I don't want to mention him na" Adi fastly answerd
"Pa bebe ka pa, hulog na hulog naman!" I laughed.
Adi avoided what I said kaya pinabayaan ko na. Nag chika kami for a while, finishing our food 'til I noticed na dumadami na ang mga students.
"Taas na tayo sis. Medjo Madami na mga nakikita Kong azul." I told Adi who was trying to get the crumbs sa chips niya.
We came back to the room. Medjo Madami ng mga Azul and it was noisy, Adi went infront para patahimikin sila while I went to my chair to see Jace, using my ipad.
"Hoy! Sabi ko bantayan, hindi paglaruan!" I hit him playfully and glanced at the screen. He was playing minecraft, building a beautiful modern house.
"Wow, ang Ganda ng... Hospital?" I jokingly said
"Bahay yan, gago." He glared at me
"Biro lang kase ssob!" I said
"Ito talaga, can't take a joke!" I added
"I don't like jokes." Maikling sabi niya
"I don't like jokes, your face!" I said mocking him. Don't like jokes daw pero puros ha hatdog
He Just shrugged, then returned the ipad to me.
"Pero ang Ganda ha!" I said exploring the house he built.
"Parang ikaw" He whispered, Loud enough for me to hear.
"Don't be so paasa Bro. Tas Pag nahulog di naman sasaluhin... Ganyan naman kayo eh." I said
"Chill! not all Men are like that, only Boys." He said with his brows furrowed.
"Wow naman meyor!" My mouth formed an 'o'
"Any ways! Ang pretty ng house ha. You can be an Architect!" I said smiling, but he stopped and stared when I told him that.
"I wish" He whispered, but I heard it.
"I really wish na magiging Architect ako, Pero it seems like I have no choice. Hindi din naman ako papayagan" He said facing down, smiling. I could tell na fake yung smile niya, I saw a hint of sadness in his eyes.
"Uhm, I'm sorry. I should'nt have brought it up." I said pouting a Little bit.
"Why are You saying sorry? Its not even your fault, Madison" He looked at me.
When his eyes turned to me, I felt butterflies in my stomach. I felt safe, and I-I Feel... warm? I had an urge to hug him, But I didn't want to let go of his gaze.
"Okay, sor-" I said then he raised his brows
"I'm sorry for saying sorry. I mean I-" I placed my Hand on my forehead being disappointed.
"Cute mo." He chuckled
