Bakugou opens the door onto the rooftop of the UA dorms.

There is a sight breeze that blows past him, ruffling his hair and clothes gently, and his eyes rise to see a beautiful sunny, crystal clear sky brightening the vibrant green horizon. A bird flies by, chirping it's wonderful song.

But Bakugou only feels numb.

The beauty seems out of place.

Why today, of all days, is it so beautiful out?

Is nature teasing him?

Tormenting him about what he could have had?

Bakugou's fuzzy eyes stare straight forward blankly, tear droplets pouring down his emotionless face despite them seeming so out of place on such a canvas.

And still, Bakugou only feels numb.

He steps forward slowly, one foot moving in front of the other.

One at a time.

Until he feels his toes hover above nothing but air.

Bakugou's empty crimson eyes peer downwards and water falls to the ground below in spite of the cloudless sky.

Finally, he'll be free.

His gaze shifts upward for a moment, looking at the sunny sky, his body relaxing and ridding itself of the tenseness and stress it is so accustomed to holding.

A shriek from below does not register in Bakugou's head. All he can hear are his thoughts.

Thoughts that, for his whole life, have only brought suffering...

But now...

They will be no more pain.

He closes his eyes calmly.

He steps forward.

And falls.

Bakugou feels the wind whirling around him and flying past. Any remaining tensity in his muscles leaves him.

The wind howls in his ears like a song.

His clothes flutter gracefully around him, as if dancing in slow motion.

The strands of his hair flutter in the wind.

His limbs allow the wind to move them as gravity calls him into its embrace.

It'll be over soon.

Nobody needs to look at him in fear.

Nobody needs to worry about the villain.

Nobody can hurt him, call him names, or find out his greatest weakness—

His greatest weakness.

Bakugou's eyes flutter open softly.

Droplets of water fly upwards from his leaking eyes.

He looks at the sky above him.

Oh, it's so beautiful.

Of all days to be so amazing, why this one?

But Bakugou is grateful, at least, that looking up towards the shining sun is like looking at his beloved's brightly shining smile one last time.

A small, tearful smile appears on Bakugou's face. Just a tilt of wobbly lips.

That brightly shining smile always makes him happy.

The one it is attached to is the only person Bakugou has ever truly loved.

His greatest weakness.

At least he will never find out.

He won't need to suffer through Bakugou's confession. Not that one would have ever come even if the blonde were to have never done this.

But now, that brightly shining boy can continue life normally.

He doesn't need to worry about Bakugou.

Bakugou will be gone.

He won't make a problem for anyone.

And nobody will be able to make any more problems for him.

He has had enough.

He is finally escaping.

Finally.

Finally.

Finally falling.

The last activity he will ever do.

It's so peaceful.

It's calm.

He finally gets to relax.

He finally gets to be calm and smile as he looks up at the brightness so alike to the beautifully blinding smile.

Tear drops continue to fly away, but he no longer feels their pain.

He lets go of his weakness.

He feels relief.

He feels love despite receiving none in return.

He feels happiness.

He smiles.

SPLAT

Only screaming is heard after the sudden sound, though the young blonde boy, who deserved so much more than he ever had, was never able to hear any such screams and will never hear anything else again.

Suicide is never the answer. It seems like it at times, and this one shot is similar to what people most likely expect to go through as they fall in this scenario, but the next chapter follows a more realistic thought process in my opinion. Please believe in yourself and know that there is always someone out there who loves you more than you could ever even comprehend. You may not have met them yet but never give up on your own life when they would do anything to save it. Also, I know many of you may not be religious, but for those who care, know that aside from those special people, more than them, actually, God (or however you refer to Him in your own religion) loves you and would never want you to go through something like this.💙💙
