One Shot

Eliouxe

"Eurydice is my bestfriend, she never liked sugar coated words, I don't know if she will ever." I sighed, as I glanced hopelessly at my composed poem that is only made and would fit for Eurydice, then looked back up to face Vera, my other friend.

"She's my friend too, Eliouxe. Don't be nervous, I know she'll love it." Hints of nervousness were visible through Vera's actions and her deliverance of her thought, but the expression of the thought never showed facially, a tactic to not pressurize me.

"Well, I hope so. Here goes nothing." I mouthed, and opened the door where Eurydice is at. "Hi, E-eury." I sttutered as nervousness rushed through my veins for I am gonna confess my feelings to my childhood friend.

"H-hi Eurydice dear, Eliouxe has something to tell you." Vera pushed me causing me to be physically closer at Eurydice, Eurydice glanced at me and then flashed a smile, the smile that heals everything

"What is it Eliouxe?" Positivity was the only thing visible in Eurydice's tone and thy facial expressions not a hint of curiosity was traced.

Her reaction made me more nervous that made me step back unconsciously.  Vera pushed my back causing me to stumble on Eurydice's arms. Her arms felt soft and warm I can smell her magnificently fragrant scent.

I am getting flustered, I can feel the heat rising up to my skull. "I-I'm so sorry." I quickly helped myself up, as I fixed my posture.
"Eurydice umm, do you have a minute?" I asked casually as if nothing happened.

"I always do Eliouxe, what is it?" her positive aura is now invisible for suspicion filled her entire actions and I am definitely not feeling well.

"I would like to umm- give this to you." I handed the letter shakily as Eurydice accepts it with no hesitation.

As Eurydice reads it silently, shock and confusion filled her facial expressions "you have feelings for me?" she said in a very serious tone.

Oh gosh, oh gosh.

"About that, I didn't mean t-" I was about to explain everything when she cut me off.

"You could've told me sooner! Eliouxe, I really like you too!" she said smiling, I heaved a deep breath as I hug her tightly. Butterflies filled my entire system.

We became lovers and I know as we grow, we knew more about love our love grew healthily along with us.
We are now both in college and we never knew that this 'young love' would help us open up our minds and get more closer each day.

"Eury after classes let's go get some coffee." I offered, wholeheartedly of course.

"As we should." She responded with a smile.

And after that, we both parted ways as we enter our own classes. The class ended and they met up in our.usual meeting place, the parking lot.

"Eliouxe! Hi how was your day?" She asked energized as if she never had a long tiring day.

"It was tiring, but it's okay now that I'm with you." I said while entering my car.

"Silly you." She giggled as she waited for me to open the door for her and so I did, chivalry is never dead for this young man.

"So where are we gonna get our coffee? There are plenty of coffee shops that we usually visit, which one?"

"Anywhere as long as I'm with you." she giggled.

I smiled, and went on to go get some coffee.

After ordering, I asked her to go to my favorite place.
"Let's go see the stars I know a place." I said with excitement painted all over my face.
