(continued from Confused Love)

My heart stops.

"Hey... Luca.."

Luca grins widely and hugs me suddenly.

"Oh my god, it's been so long, it's so good to see you again!"

I laugh and grin back, "I know.. it's been too long!"

I'm so happy to see him but that little voice in my ear is still bugging me. What about your feelings for him? And what about Liam? I shake the thoughts out of my head and smile at Luca.

"So criminal justice huh?"

Luca shrugs as he raises his eyebrows, "Yeah.. I've grown an interest in this stuff."

I smile and face Luca, "I always thought you'd go into computer programming."

Luca grins, "You know me pretty well. But y'know.. things change."

I check the time and look back at Luca, "So how have you been doing?"

"I've been doing really good actually. My mom was really sad about me leaving. My dad too. But yeah.. they're doing well too. What about you?"

I inhale deeply, "I'm doing good.

Luca puckers his lips, thinking, "Just good? Nothing else?"

I nod and look down at my feet, "Yep.. just good."

Luca leans his elbows on his knees, "You.. sure?

I playfully frown slightly, "Fineee..."

I sigh heavily.

"My mom and dad might divorce.."

Luca leans back and sighs through his nose.

"Oh... I'm sorry."

I run my tongue across my teeth, "Honestly I'm not that sad about it...? Dad was never really home. And I'm pretty sure he fooled around with a bunch of girls. He's making Mom more depressed so I think it's better for her."

Luca nods, "Yeah.. that would be best for you guys."

I turn my head to look at Luca and smile slightly, "I've missed you so much."

Luca smiles back, "Me too."

I walk next to Luca after our second lecture.

"It's so nice getting to be with you again."

Luca smiles as the sun beams through the leaves, "Yeah it really is."

I step my feet in rhythm with Luca's on the pavement. We walk in silence for a while then I look at Luca.

"So do you want to continue with this or–"

"Erin!"

Luca and I look up.

Oh... no..

Liam walks towards me and Luca, his blonde hair shining in the sun. When he walks up to us he nods at Luca and look at me. He smiles, not knowing anything.

"So you guys met!"

I purse my lips and stare at the ground.

Luca squints, "Yes...? Wait Liam you know Erin?"
