Chapter 2- Drunken Memories
Her father stepped in the door with the smell of acohol erradicating from him. Lately he's spending allot of time of at the bar and spending the rent money on other women. When he spoted Sindy, he walked up to her and grabbed her by the arm fircely. She shriek and tried to shake free of his grip but it was no use. He spoke with a disgusting voice "You good for nothing child, why are you still here didnt i tell you to get out my house?!". He smacked her and she fell to the ground. She got up and ran to her room as quick as she can and locked the door behind her.
Seconds later she heard banging on the door and she slid under he bed with her face buried in her hands. "Open this door your freak!!". This happened daily to Sindy. He always beat her and left bruises on her. One time he even tried to rape her but he wasnt not able to succed. Her mother always asked where her bruises came from but she always had a different excuse. She wished she was able to tell her mother what her dad did to her, she wished she could tell anyone. Bur she had no one. She was alone in the world that she stood in now that her mother was gone.
Through all her thinking, she realized the banging had stopped. She retreated from under her bed and stepped to the door and slightly opened it. She looked out and seen all was quiet and was nowere in sight. As she was about to step out a hand grabbed her foot and she was stabbed in her ankle with a knife. She got free of the hold and closed the door and locked it back. She fell to the ground in pain and agony yelling out her emotions to her empty world. She grabbed a shirt and wrapped it around the open wound. Then she stumbled to her feet and heard more banging on the door. "Get out that emo freak room so i can hurt you!!!". She wished her father was different. It was the last straw for her. She got a bag, packed her cell, ipod, some clothes, her favorite book, opened the window and jumped out. She ran, hurtfully, through the murky ally wat behind her house which seemed to feel like a maze to her.
