It seemed like forever until she finally reached the ally opening. The only light shed was from the glistening moon. The night seemed darker than usual and things felt strange to Sindy. She walked onto the slush sidewalk and felt depressed. Then it began to rain. This caused her to become distracted and look at the rain, which made her forget her sadness. Then the rain suddenly stopped. Sindy knew something was wrong with her, that she was different, that she wasnt normal. She walked down the quiet streets and all she heard wa the whistle of the wind. She thought of how her life could have been different. As she was walking, she wasnt paying attention and bumbed into someone who was very tall and stiff. She fell to the ground with a thud and looked up to see a blond headed boy with green eyes. Their stares locked on to each other and just for a moment she seemed perfect. She snapped out her trance when she realized his hand was out in a helpful gesture. "Grab my hand" said the stranger.
