Chapter 4 —
"Cooperation?" Leif snickers, "Cooperation of what? Am I going to take orders from your leader?" He quotes 'leader' with his hands and steps closer to me.
The boys steps forwards but I hold up my hand to stop them. The man infront of me has a look of intimidation and dominance. His index and thumb press onto my chin, making me look up to him more. The touch is soft as he looks onto my eyes.
"Darling," He starts then smirks, "I'm not easy to agree at anything."
I look at him for a moment then I fastly grab his collar and pull him closer. Banging my forehead onto his. He groans out in pain and took a step back. His hand rubs his forehead, to ease the pain but I might've banged my head too hard. Glad I'm numb.
"What the hell was that for!?"
"First," I push my hair back, but it only comes back to my face. "Don't call me darling. Second," I clear my throat and give him a beautiful fake smile. "How about I make you a deal?"
"Lenoir." Asch warns and I glare at him. As if I don't know what I'm doing.
The white headed man looks at me with an eyebrow rised up. He looks at me suspiciously and I just stand there without anything to defend myself. I see him, still holding that knife. Any minute, he'll stab me to death.
Leif push his hair back and looks down. He squints his eyes down on the rough floor and slide his lips to the side. He then looks at me then looks down. What the heck is up with this guy? Decision-making maybe? I just look at him with my dull eyes.
After a few minutes, he sighs in defeat. I give him a closed mouth smile, as I wait for his reply. Leif looks back at me. I see his eyes has full of emotions in them. So much sadness and pain in them. As if his soul is screaming for help. That really caught me off guard. When it did, he run off fast.
"LENOIR, WHAT THE HELL?" Asch screams out and then runs to Leif.
"Noi," I hear Rhys say in my earphone, "SNIPE!" There was a little pause. "NOI!"
"I'M GETTING IT!" Noi yells out suddenly in my earphone and it hurt my ear.
A woosh sound came in and that's when Asch stopped running. Leif laughs as he runs to an another direction. I run off to Asch. He's unconscious, because Noi sniped the wrong person. That's at first, he hasn't sniped a wrong person until now.
I press my earphone, "NOI, YOU SHOT THE WRONG MAN!" I yell.
"I HAVEN'T SHOT YET!"
My eyes widen, "What..?" I look behind me and see no one there. Pierce must have run off to Leif. But what the heck? He didn't shoot Asch? Then who? I look at the back of Asch's neck, there's a little syringe. I take it out of him and investigate it. I'll have Rhys look at this.
"I shot the man." Noi reminds and hear some shuffling.
"Pierce has Leif," Rhys states as I hear him types something out.
I put my finger on my earphone, "Rhys, I need you to examine what I got." I say as I look at it.
"What is it?"
