The Punishment

Sua could feel an immense pain making her body tremble. She clenched her fist trying to control whatever was happening. She was breathing fast, her mouth open trying to suck in as much air as possible and her vision unclear, making it impossible for her to stay sane. She gulped trying to suppress the unbearable pain gripping her physically as well as mentally. But it was too much. An unearthly scream escaped her throat piercing through the eternal silence of the mysterious place.

She tried to understand what she was doing but it was as if she was possessed. Her one hit on the chest of the newborn sent him flying off, landing hard on the ground. The vampire was also not easily giving in. He stood up his eyes full of anger and hunger looking at Sua. And then he started running.

Sua stood at the same place without moving, her face emotionless staring at the newborn. She could have been mistaken for a corpse except that she was breathing. The distance between her and the newborn was closing up but Sua remained unaffected. She just kept glaring at him without blinking. And just as he was about to catch her he scattered into pieces dissolving into the thin air.

What the fucking fuck?!
What happened? How did it happen?
Siyeon had her mouth open and eyes bulging out looking at the scene in front of her. Silence again enclosed the place as before.

Sua stood still until she saw her surroundings spinning and her legs failing to support her, she collapsed. But before she could hit the ground Siyeon caught her.

"Hey", Siyeon patted her face, "Sua can you hear me? C'mon say something."

"So this is what you meant when you said that you were experimenting."

Siyeon looked up to see Dami along with Handong and....Taehyung?!
What was he doing with Dami?

Siyeon carefully made Sua sit by supporting her by a nearby tree and then bowed to the Empress.

"This is that Kim Sua I guess. The dark human that you made." Dami said coming closer to her.

"Yes she is."

"Well, I hope you saw what you wanted to see. Dark human can kill vampires."

Siyeon did not reply.

"It's time that you kill her as promised." The Empress said putting a hand on her shoulder.

"There's still one week remaining."

The Empress smirked, "Who is that specific person that you want to kill?"

Siyeon's blood boiled when she realized that Dami was mocking her. Oh! How she wished she could say that she was that specific person.

"Sorry but you are thinking too much. I don't have such thoughts in my mind." She lied.

"You better not." Dami continued pointing at Sua, "She killed a vampire and I cannot let that slide easily. And I also can't go back on my words. You have one week to kill her. But she must be punished."

Damn.

"How?"

"You will soon get to know that my dear. Don't blame me for it. You called it upon yourself. You shouldn't have made her a dark human." she smiled before turning around to leave, "Let's go Handong I have something important for you to do."

"Did you tell her everything?" Siyeon asked Taehyung after the two left.

"I had to." He smiled sheepishly, "Handong saw me when I was hypnotizing the newborn."

Siyeon rolled her eyes, "Just one task Tae. Just one. That also you can't do properly."

"By the way what do you gonna do with her?" He asked walking towards Sua who had still not fully recovered.

"Mmm....you smell good. I think your blood will taste as good as you smell."

Sua sensed his lips on her neck. She tried to push him but had no strength to do so.
But then he was pulled away from her.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Siyeon snapped.

"Satisfying my thirst."

"And who the hell gave you the permission to do so?"

"Hah! Do I even need permission? She is just a toy, right? She will be disposed off by the owner after her work is done. So let me just drink her blood. Her blood is really something."

"Fuck off", Siyeon said blocking his path, "She's mine."

"Oh c'mon you can't just enjoy her yourself. I deserve her too cause I'm also helping you. So please Siyeon just let me drink her blood."

Siyeon ignored him. She lifted up Sua in bridal style and ran towards her home.

Sua's head was empty by the time they reached. She didn't knew what to believe. Was what she heard true? That she was only a puppet in Siyeon's eyes to kill Dami?

"Are you ok?"

Sua gazed at the vampire's face who gently put her down on bed and sat beside her.

"Ask me whatever is in your mind." Siyeon said taking her hand and caressing it.

The other girl opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by a low scream probably coming from downstairs.

Sua stood up and without wasting anytime ran downstairs. She followed the sound which led to the living room. The room was dark with only a ray of moonlight coming inside from the window.
On reaching she was two bodies lying on the ground. She tried to calm herself and went closer.

"Mo...mom...dad...no no NO!" She fell to her knees shaking both of them. Tears started to flow from her eyes uncontrollably.
"No..you can't leave me. Wake up. Just wake up please." She sobbed.
She knew it was useless. Blood was all around them and even her hand got stained with their fresh blood.

"Why? WHY?" She yelled.

She sensed someone else present in that room. She looked up to see a blonde haired woman smirking.

"This is your punishment." Handong said and vanished.
