Hi there everyone, I'm finally back with a new chapter! I appreciate you guys being so patient with me😊. I am moving off of the island I live on currently, and moving back to where I spent most of my younger childhood at (that being most of elementary and before that). I also have lots of school work I need to hand in for my schooling, so that's another thing😑. Anyways, thank you for all of your patience, and here's a brand new chapter!

Y/N,s Pov-
I was wandering the school halls looking for a good place to sit and draw, when I suddenly heard my name. "Y/n!" I looked behind me to see the tall irish man running up to me. "Hey, I finally found ye." I gave him a short smile and nod, indicating I heard what he had said. We started walking down the halls and came across our clubroom. "Hey do ye maybe wanna hang out in the clubroom?" Jack pointed to the door on our right, and I nodded as a response. We walked into the dimly lit room, and took a seat at the table beside eachother. "H-hey, I wanted to ask ye a question..."

Jack said while rubbing the back of his neck. I looked at him and nodded, telling him he could continue. "Well... exams are coming up soon, and I know you have really good grades." I nodded, agreeing with his statement. "Heh, I uh kind of have shitty grades..." Jack was now starting to blush, this guy really didn't like telling anyone he was bad at anything, did he? "I wanted to know if maybe... you could help me study!" I blinked in slight surprise when he raised his voice a little. He stared at me in embarrassment for a moment, but then he started to ramble. "I mean you don't have to if you don't want to! I know you're nervous and all, and you're probably too busy. I don't want to bother you!"

He paused for a moment when he heard something unfamiliar.

Jack's Pov-
"Hehehe!" I paused my rambling and looked to Y/N. he was giggling out loud, trying to cover up the sound with his mouth. "Of course I'll help you study Jack! Is that even a question?" He gave me a sweet smile after his sentence. 'Wait, did he just speak a whole sentence to me without a single stutter?' I smiled. "He really are a life saver Y/N. thank ye." I patted his head and smiled at him.

"Y-you're wel... come" he went back to his stuttering normal self. Not that I'm complaining, I think it's adorable. After that, we hung out in the clubroom lots together. He helped me study, and he even tried to teach me how to draw a little! I wasn't very good at it though haha. Y/N was an amazing artist, and you could tell he was very passionate about it. After a while, I noticed that I was starting to get this certain feeling in my chest when I was around him. It was a feeling I never felt for anyone I had met before....

Y/n's Pov-
Jack and I have been hanging out a lot more together as of recently. He's really nice, and I feel safe when I'm around him. Hes got a great sense of humour, and I love it! When I'm around him, it's like nothing can touch me. I'm invincible with him by my side. After a while, I started to notice that I was starting to catch feelings for the moody irish teen. But after the last time I felt this way, I was too scared to open up to my feelings...

We were currently studying at my house in my room. Jack has gotten much better at his work with my help. "And then you carry the two and that's your answer!" I explained a math question to jack while he listened intently. Jack has become another person I can usually speak to without stuttering now. "Oh, I get it!" Jack and I finished the rest of our studying session, and cleaned up all the work at the table. "Boys! Dinners ready, come down and eat!" Jack and I got up and headed downstairs. Once we got to the dinner table, everyone was sitting down and ready to eat. "Hey dear, how was your day today?" My mother asked me, while she handed me a plate of food. "It was good, Jack and I just finished studying."

My mom smiled and nodded, handing everyone else their plates. "You and Jack have gotten much closer, you dont even stutter much around him anymore." Mark said, while chewing his food. "Mark, don't talk with your mouth full!" My mom spoke to my brother as jack and I snickered. Mark swallowed his food and spoke. "Sorry mom..." we all started to laugh together while mark sat there in embarrassment. The rest of the night was filled with laughter and Mark getting yelled at because of his ill manners at the table.

Once we were all finished eating, my mom took all of our plates and took them to the sink so she could wash them. We all got up from the table, and Jack went to go get his things. When he came down, he had his backpack slung around his shoulder, ready to go home for the night. "Alright, I'm going to head out now, thanks fer having me!" Jack waved as we all waved back. "Good luck on the exams Jack!" After jack left, I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

As I was laying in bed, I suddenly got a text on my phone. I turned over and turned it on, seeing a new text from an unknown number. He's just pretending to like you. Why would anyone actually love you?!
I looked at my phone screen in shock, who would send me such horrible messages? But I already knew exactly who it was. My ex was finally coming back for revenge...

I barely slept that night, so I was exhausted when I had to get up for school the next day. Once I got to the school, Felix, Ethan, And Jack we're waiting for mark and I at the doors of the school. "Hey bro's, are you guys all ready for the exams today?" We all groaned, giving Felix his answer. He laughed and we all headed out to our respected classes. I went the same way as Jack, seeing as we were in the same class. As we approached the door, we looked to eachother. "Good luck" we both said in unison before opening the door.
