Artwork-11(Look into my Eyes)

It is a zentangle drawing of greek goddess 'Athena' who has shield. The front side of shield is protected by 'Medusa'.
Here is a story to which most of the people is not aware.
Medusa real name is Gorgon. She was the one of the most beautiful maiden. She become the priestess of athena's temple which is present in the middle of the sea. According to rules of athena temple . The priestess should be virgin and not to be connected with any man. Medusa dedicated herself to worship athena. People come to athena temple by attracting of medusa beauty which is somewhere become the cause of jealousy in athena.
The Greek god of sea 'poisedeon' fell for medusa beauty but medusa clearly state that she can't engage with any man. The poisedeon wanted medusa on any condition. He tried many times but medusa didn't hear him. So , in last one day medusa was in a temple of athena. The poisedeon trued to tell medusa to become her but like everytime she refuses his proposal. Which make him angry and he raped her inside the temple of athena. Because of the violency athena become angry .she accused medusa to use her beauty as seduction to attract man. Athena cursed medusa that her hair will replace with snakes and whoever try to look into her eyes will turned into stone. And she will become a half snake. Now medusa turned into a monster. But she is still dedicated towards the athena. Now people came into the temple to watch the monster i.e medusa. Which become another cause of jealousy of athena. So, pershius teamed up with few gods including athena and kill the medusa and cut her head .he used the head to turned his enemies into stones or to defeat them. And in the end athena accepted medusa head to placed it in front of her shield. So, even after death medusa totally dedicated towards athena by become the protector in front of her shield.
So, here the story end.
