The Odd Couple: How It All Began

Chapter 3

On the drive home all I could think about was the child in my stomach.

What if I'm not a good mom?

How are we gonna support this child, pay for a wedding, all my doctor appointment's, rent, child support, car insurance, and food.

We just pulled up to my house and my mom was just sitting there waiting for me.

Bye babe text you later.

Okay I walked into the house and my mom said "why didn't you tell me you are pregnant, what else are you hiding from me?"

I'm getting married.

What we'll discuss this later.

I stormed into my room.

Across the street Matt just walked in and was being yelled at.

He walked up to his room and locked the door.

(Texting)
(M-Matt A-Ashley)
M- I'm being yelled at
A- me to
M- I'm packing my stuff I'm gonna leave wanna come.
A- yeah let's go
M- sneak out of your window and pack it in the car and we'll meet at family express.
A- got it
M- bye love you
A- same here
(Conversation over)
I replied same here and packed up.

I started with my clothes and stuck them all in my college suitcase.

Then I grabbed my tote bag and stuck my toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, straightener, curling iron, blow dryer, makeup bag, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, nail polish bag, electric razor and then my bag was full.

So I opened my window and stuck it in my car and went back inside.

I got my purse and stuck my wallet, phone, laptop, tablet, iPad, and iPod touch in my bag and put it by my suitcase.

I grabbed my carry on suitcase and put 6towels and wash cloths in there.

I also put in my shoes.

I put all my stuff in my car and snuck back in.

I grabbed my fan, blankets, pillows, and book bag.

I took them all to my car and put a note on my door.

I grabbed my keys and left.

Across the street Matt packed all his clothes in his college suitcase added his towels and washcloths.

Then grabbed his carry on suitcase and put his bathroom stuff, laptop, iPad, iPhone cases, tablet, and phone chargers.

He then grabbed his book bag and bedding.

He brought everything from sheets to shoes to his car and left a note.

He left to go and meet Ashley at family express.

He drove quickly out of the subdivision.

They got to family express and then decided to stay at a motel.

The drove to a motel that said starting at $20.

They walked in got a room for $20they brought their stuff in except their bedding.

They have the room for 7 days.

So Ashley and Matt put their stuff in the dresser drawers and in the bathroom.

It was then 10 pm so they went to bed.
