Perseus Jackson: howl at the new moon

Confrontation

After Gabe had disappeared I finally worked up the courage to turned around as I knew that my bottom lip was bleed, I could feel the blood dripping from my nose and I knew there was little cut on the corner of my eyebrow, I also knew that soon enough there would be bruise forming my stomach from where Gabe punched and kick me, there would also be bruise on my back from where he slung me across the arena, when I finally worked up the courage to turn around I found everyone staring at me probably wonder how I was still standing after all that Gabe just did to me, I couldn't stand the looks of pity that Amy and her friends where giving me, so before any of them could say anything I ran from the arena and I didn't stop running until I reached the beach where I knew I could be alone for however long I wanted to be or until someone come to find me which I hope wouldn't be any time soon, I just couldn't face them right now; knowing that they had asked me twice if I was lying about Gabe abusing me and both times I lied to them, I don't think I'll be able to face them for a bit now that they know the truth they'll want to know why I lie to them, and I have no clue why I lied to them I guess I just didn't want people at camp knowing that the person who defeated the titan lord Kronos and the earth Goddess Gaia was abuse for years and couldn't do anything about it; I didn't want to know what they though of me I was afraid they'd betray me to and leave me on my own.

*Scott pov*
After Gabe finally disappeared Percy worked up the courage to turn around and when everyone saw his face there was gasps coming from everyone at what they saw, there was blood dripping from his bottom lip, from his nose and there was a cut on the corner of his eyebrow and we all knew that by tomorrow there would be bruises forming on Percy stomach and back from where kick, punched and slung him across the arena, once Percy realised that everyone was staring at his face he ran out of the arena before anyone could say anything; I knew he wanted to alone so he could calm down from being throw around by Gabe so when Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel and Frank were about to go after him he so I said "Guys just leave him alone for a bit he needs to calm down and he won't be able to do that if we are all surrounding him, if he needs to talk to one of us or all of us he will come and get us."
"What was going on with Percy and Gabe anyway all we heard was a big bang and we walking in here to see Gabe and Percy fighting" Zeus asked.
"We just finally witnessed Gabe abusive behaviour" Jason answered.
"What do you mean you just finally witnessed Gabe abusive behaviour" Athena asked.
"Well Percy was teaching a lesson and then Gabe came in and told Percy he wanted to finish his talk from yesterday but Percy said he was busy but Gabe didn't like that answer so he walked up to Percy and picked him up by his collar and punched him in the face, Jason told him to put Percy down but he, he wanted to know where Auntie Sally was but Percy wouldn't tell him so Gabe started punching and kicking him, when Gabe finally stop or so we though he told Percy to go and do something useful like making him something to eat but Percy told him no and then he started throwing Percy around" Stiles replied.
"What did Gabe mean when he said that Percy knows better than to say no to him" Poseidon asked.
"Percy doesn't do what Gabe wants by choice, Percy would tell Gabe no all the time but them Gabe would beat him, Percy said that each time he said no the beatings got worse so Percy just stopped telling him no, he said it wasn't worth the trouble, this was the first time in a long Percy has said no to Gabe" My mom said.
"We should go and find him now and make sure he is ok" Piper said.

With that everyone but the gods, Chiron, Austin, Annabeth, Nico, Thalia and Grover went to make sure that Percy was ok. We went to his cabin to see if he was there but he wasn't so we went to the beach and found Percy sitting on the sand staring out into the water, Piper and Hazel started walking forward and went towards Percy and said "Perce."
Percy looked up at us and he still had blood dripping from his lip, nose and his cut eyebrow and then Jason said "Why didn't you just tell us the truth about the abuse, we wouldn't have judge you, we're family and family looks out for each other."
"Because I didn't want people knowing it was in my past an I wanted it to stay there, I haven't told anyone at camp about it not even Annabeth" Percy said.
"Perce, if you don't mind me asking what don't we know about you" Anna asked.

*Back to normal pov*
"Perce, if you don't mind me asking what don't we know about you" Anna asked.
I was about to answer her when Leo said "Perce, you have to tell them, they are going to find out eventually, so just tell them now!"
I just nodded and then said "What do you guys know about the Greek gods."
"Like the myths and monsters" Amy asked.
"Yeah" I replied.
"What do they have to do with anything" Simon questioned.
"Well, there not just myths, there real all those adults are the Greek gods, mine and Amy's dad is Poseidon" I answered.
"Prove it" Amy and Aunt Melissa said, confused.
I turned to the water and will it to rise in the air and then I will it to turn into my mom's face and then Amy said "So all that about Dad being in the Navy was a lie."
I nodded my head and then said "Mom wanted to make sure that if you ever asked where dad or I was she wanted something to tell you, she didn't want you to have anything to do in this, then when she died it became my choice and I didn't think mom would like it if I got you involved in this world so I chose not to tell you."
They all just nodded.
Then Scott said "That thing that attack us when we was in the wood the night after you got there, that was after you wasn't it."
"I don't know Scott, I wanted to tell you when Poseidon came looking for me but I just kept seeing my Mom and Paul lying on the floor because of who I am, I didn't want anything like that happening to you guys" I stated.
"Perce, it wasn't your fault if anyone's to blame it Oceanus" Piper said.
"No it's not, I promise Paul and my mom that I wouldn't let anything happen to them because of who I am, this was the first time in years that she was happy with her life in years and I took that from her, maybe Athena was right in order to protect my family and friends it's going to cost the world, but it can go the other way, in order to save the world it cost me my family" I stated.
"Perce, she was wrong" Frank said.
"No she wasn't... the year Bianca died I had promise Nico I wouldn't let anything happen to her, then she died while I was suppose to be protect her, then when they decide it was ok for me to live, Athena came up me and told me stay away from Annabeth and when I asked her why she said that the monster know how to get to me, all three times they used my family and friends to get to me and then when she told me that one day it will cost the world, I told her that I can protect the world and my family all in one well I guess I was wrong after all" I countered.
Before anyone could say anything else I turned around and walked off.

*Austin pov*
Soon after people went after Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Thalia, Grover, Chiron and the gods left the arena leaving me there alone, when I was sure that they was go I headed into the woods and waited until Lycaeon arrived, once he did I said "We need a new plan to get rid of him, Gabe didn't work."
"What those people are still siding with him" Lycaeon questioned.
I nodded my head.
"Leave it to me, he'll be gone by lunchtime tomorrow" Lycaeon said.
