Case 2.5

"I'm the student council president. My name is Oshima Yuko."

Both Sebumi and Touma stared at her in disbelief. They couldn't believe what they are seeing in front of them. "I know you are both confused right now." Yuko said. "Come with me." She said as she lead them to the student council office. The two followed her silently.

"Jun, I mean, Yuko or whatever your name is, how come you are here in this school?" Sebumi asked when they arrived at the student council office. "What do you like, coffee or tea?" Yuko offered. "We don't need anything. Just answer his question." Touma said. "Fine. I'll answer your question." Yuko said replied as she sat on the sofa in the middle of the office. She gestured the two to sit on the sofa opposite the one that she's sitting on.

"Years ago, after everything was reset, I returned to life after wandering around the Underworld. I now go by the name Oshima Yuko as I introduced myself earlier. I'm no longer the daughter of your first love Sebumi." Yuko explained. "So it's true that after I came back from the dead, you as well as Sekai came back to life as well." Touma said. "Yes. But after what he did to me that day, I'm no longer by his side. Besides, my "mother" showed me that there is still hope with humans. That they are worth saving." Yuko said with a smile as she looked at the student who just entered the student council room. The student has long, wavy brown hair. If she's not wearing a school uniform, she could be mistaken as a model from a magazine because of her height and her pretty face. Touma looked at the student then to Yuko. "Don't tell me, that officer got reincarnated as this student?"

Yuko nodded. "I went to this school to protect her just as she had protected me back then. She sacrificed her life for me, so it's my turn to return the favor."

"Ah Yuko-san, I didn't know you have visitors. Sorry for suddenly coming." The student said. "It's alright Nyannyan." Yuko replied.

"I'm detective Touma Saya and this is Sebumi Takeru. We're both from the Unsolved Crimes Division." Touma said as she showed her badge to the student. "So tell me, what brings you here at our school?" Yuko asked.

"One of your students has been kidnapped. Her name is Maeda Atsuko." Sebumi said as he showed them a picture.

"Maeda. I know her. Her father is a professor at Tokyo University. But he went missing some time ago." The student said. "I haven't introduced myself, my name is Kojima Haruna."

"Her father went missing?" Sebumi asked. "Yes. It was months after his wife and youngest daughter died in a plane crash."

"So that means, her father's disappearance could also be connected with her kidnapping." Touma said to herself. "Yuko, could you come with us later at the police station? There's something that we need to confirm."

"There's still a chance for you to join us." Mayu said. "No." Atsuko said. "Why not? We both know that you are special. You are not like any other kids your age. You know that's why our parents chose that both of us be home schooled as we grow up, right?"

A few years ago,

"Leave my sister alone!" the young Atsuko yelled as she run towards her sister who was being bullied by the kids in the neighborhood. "You are both freaks! You should leave this neighborhood!" one of the kids said as she pushed young Mayu to the ground. "That's not true!" Atsuko said as she hugged her sister tight while protecting her against the kicks and the things that were being thrown at them. Then one kid picked up a piece of wood and was about to hit them but Atsuko was able to resist it and she grabbed the wood away.

As if possessed, Atsuko beat the kids so bad while her sister watch in horror.

"Please don't kill us!" One of the kids pleaded as Atsuko was walking towards them with her hand up in the air, and a piece of pipe magically came into her hand like it has a magnet. Her eyes showed no emotions and her pupils became black.

"Onee-chan! No!!!" Mayu shouted. Her sister's voice made her come back to her senses. She threw the pipe that she's holding and immediately went to her sister's side and helped her stood up.

"Do you remember now? You and I are both different. We're special." Mayu said with a smirk. "We're both spec-holders."
