You wake up in Chopper’s medical room. You push your sore body up, and feel something shift beside your hand. You look down to find Luffy sleeping soundly. You feel your face turn red with happiness. ‘AWW! A sleeping Luffy is so kawaii!’ you smiled to yourself, “(Y/N), don’t die on me! Grumble… you’re the best girl.” You heard Luffy mumble to himself, you turn brighter, ‘HUH?! What are you saying, Luffy?’ you thought nervously. Suddenly, Luffy jolts up to say, “MEAT!” you get frightened and send a punch to Luffy, sending him flying to the other side of the room. “OW!” he screams in agony! Sitting up in pain, he rubs his back. “At least you’re awake. You okay?” You calmed down and exhaled replying, “Yea. You okay?” He nods, “Yea.” You shift yourself to lean against the wall and watch as Luffy walked to you. He sits beside you on the bed, looking at you. You averted your eyes to the window, and watched as a bird flies away. You thought to yourself, ‘This is getting awkward. I should say something.’ But as you thought to yourself, you heard a sniffle. Confused, you turn to the sound and see Luffy’s face buried in his hands. You put your hands on his shoulders, “Luffy? Daijoubou?” You asked with a bit of uneasiness. He pulls you into his embrace, breaking down into your shoulders. As you soaked his pain, he mumbles, “(Y/N), gomene. It’s was wrong of me, I_” The door slammed open, as both you and Luffy turn to the door, eyes wide. Choppers stands there with an unimaginable expression, a mixed of confusion, happiness, and awkwardness, but Luffy and you were just as awkardified as he was. Luffy quickly jumps out of your embrace as you collect yourself. Now sitting at a distance on the bed, Luffy blushes madly, averting his eyes to the ground. “Ahem, sorry, (Y/N).” You looked down at your fiddling fingers resting on your lap. “Um, it’s... it’s kind of my fault too.” As you managed to blurt out, trying really hard not to blush, well, that already spilt, but trying not to look at Luffy. You look up to look at Chopper, and you see a bothered reindeer, mumbling, “I don’t think that (Y/N) is hurt anymore. And I think Luffy needs some sleep.” Chopper closes his eyes and continues, “I need to make some rumble balls!” You gave a shy smile, “Sorry, Chopper. I still don’t feel that easy. Can I stay?” Chopper stares at you blankly, and then smiles at you. “Sure, (Y/N). But Luffy, you’re going to have to go, the sick needs to sleep.” Luffy stands up in a quick hurry, “Uh, yea! Yea! See ya later, (Y/N).” You waved good-bye as he hurries out. Chopper sits at his desk and starts working. You stare for a bit, and then lay back down. As your eyes were about to close, the door slams open. And you jolted to sitting up right, Chopper looks to the door in surprise and anger. Sanji was panting wildly. Your best friend gives a small relief but back to an angered state. Sanji walks to your side and crouches, “(Y/N)-chan! You’re looking fine as always! Would you like some breakfast?” Your best friend knocks him out; he gives a nosebleed and falls onto his side with hearts in his eyes. “Tch!” your best friend comments in disgust, “Don’t worry, (Y/N). I’ll make breakfast.” She turns her head and looks at Chopper, “Sorry, little guy!” She says with a playful smile, and drags Sanji out the door. “This perverted damn bastard.” She mumbles walking out the door. Closing it behind her, you gave yourself a face palm. “Sorry Chopper for so much trouble this early in the morning. I’m going to leave you in peace.” You apologized, he stands up. “Are you feeling better, (Y/N)-san?” You nod, “I should be fine.” You replied. You quickly said, “Morning, Chopper!” and walked to your room. You were careful not to step Sanji, who was lying on the grass, still unconscious. You made your way to your room and plopped onto your bed. You inhaled, and gave a huge exhale. “Guh! That was weird!” you whispered, you rolled onto your side facing your pillow. ‘Wow. That’s was my first time being so close to Luffy.’ You sighed in happiness, ‘WAIT! THAT WAS MY FIRST TIME BEING SO CLOSE TO LUFFY!’ you sat up in realization, “OH MY GOODNESS!” your eyes opened wide, and you get an extreme red face. “UH!!” You whined. You face planted into your pillow, someone knocks on your door. “GYAH!” You screamed out at the door. The door opens to reveal (Y BF’S N) head poked in, “Gyah to you!” she replies with a smile. She comes in and kicks the door close behind her, “Here.” saying setting down a plate of food “Enjoy.” She walks back out, and for the rest of the day you stayed in your room. The sky turned dark, and the blanket of stars filled the air. ‘The day went by pretty fast today.’ You thought to yourself as you sit up from your bed. You gave a small yawn and walked to the railings. Watching the sea and staring at the moon, ‘What happened to me? I bet its stress. Yea, stress.’ You thought. You heard faint footsteps behind you, whipping your head, alarmed at the fact that anyone is still awake, light shines into your eyes as you squinted. “(Y/N)? Is that you?” the shadow asked. Putting the light closer to its face, you answered “Yea, wait. LUFFY!?” you shouted in alarm. “Yea.” He replies sheepishly. He walks his way beside you, and blows out the lights, you stare at Luffy blankly. Leaning on the railings with his back facing the ocean, silence drops like a ton onto the two of you. “So,” you and Luffy said in unison. “Wait, I’m sorry. You go first. No. You! Me?” as you both said in unison. Tumbling over each others’ words, you heard someone shout, “LUFFY!” catching both you and Luffy’s attention, turning to the voice, “You go first!” It was Zoro, with your best friend’s head sticking out; she gave a sly devilish smile. ‘Night walk with your boyfriend?’ I teased mentally saying to her, she got me and immediately start blushing bright pink. ‘SHUT UP!’ she snapped back, telepathically. (Y BF’S N) has just gotten into a relationship with Zoro. (you don’t even know how, neither do I, the author) You give a little snicker as your bright pink best friend drags Zoro, who keeps pointing at two fingers from his eyes to Luffy. You turn your attention back to Luffy, who’s been staring at you for quite sometime now. “Go ahead, Luffy” you said nicely. Luffy flushes and said, “So, umm, well.” Pulling the ‘L’ longer then needed. Luffy turns his body so he now faces the sea, “So, before Zoro told me that if I am a true friend, no matter what. I should be there to support them. So,” Luffy looks to you, “This is me, swallowing my hatred and saying,” he gave a deep inhale
