April 13, 2019 - Saturday
Ayla's POV
I stayed up all night staring aimlessly at my room, alone.
The emotions and memories of the incident still haunt me.
I messed up.
I'm such a fool.
It's a nightmare I'm trying to forget.
Time flies so fast that a phone call made me back to my senses.
I massaged my head and bit my lower lip as I start to feel an ache.
It's already morning.
I looked at my phone and reads the caller's name.
"Sir Joseph."
I'm frightened and don't know whether I will answer it or not.
I paused for a second to decide and ended up answering it.
"Where are you? You're late again! It's the final day of examination!" He raises his voice at me.
It crosses my mind that today is the deadline, even if I finished the exam.
I'm not paid.
I will never become part of the graduation.
"But... "
"Just come here and bring your projects." He interfered with an inviting voice before he drops the call.
I don't know what to do but there's only one thing I'm sure of, I need to make it right.
There's no place in running, I must be brave to face the consequences and save the innocent one.
I arrived late in the classroom and I felt the heavy atmosphere.
It's so quiet not just because they are taking exams but the news already heard throughout the campus and we're the most affected.
I'm so afraid as Sir Joseph approached me and handed me my test papers.
He's so serious.
I looked around and noticed that he's not here.
"Goodbye Class." Sir Joseph said after the examination.
