Chapter 9...Jiggery pokery

It's almost 7.30. I never wake up this late , guess it's because I couldn't sleep well last night that I had these annoying nightmares which scared me off . ( I better shouldn't mention)

I got down from the bed and went to take a quick shower as I'm being late for school. But these thoughts kept spinning around my head about the kiss I had with Eric and I was really annoyed. I came out of the washroom as I heard my phone ringing and I picked it up.

"Hazel, aren't you coming today?" she asked hastily.

"No I'm coming just got up late"

"Hurry up hazy"

"Yeah I'm getting dressed"

"I have something to tell ya.. it's great news"

"What?" She left me hanging and now I'm really curious about what she had to tell me , wish it isn't about Eric.

I soon climbed down the stairs and mom was waiting for me in the car.

" What took you so long?"

"I got a call from Emily and can we just hurry up?"

"Of course we can young lady"

I saw Emily waiting for me near my locker as I entered the hallway. She looked extremely happy and she hugged me with a huge smile on her face.

"We are late" she giggled.

"What happened to these ladies?" Mr. Scott asked us as we entered the class.

"We are late I suppose" Emily said and grinned.

"I can see that very well ,Can u explain me the reason behind this delay?"

"Actually I'm the one who got late and she waited for me " I said swiftly almost interrupting Mr.Scott.

"Ah ha"

"Yeah I couldn't sleep well last night that's why" I said and catched Eric giving me a evil smirk. (He knows the reason duh)

And that period was really exhausting cause I didn't get any of the sums he taught cuz I was really out of the world thinking about what happened between me and Eric and I wonder how I have to act like there's nothing now.

And the class dismissed with the bell and Emily strode to me.

"Great news"

"At least tell me now plzz" I begged.

"So here's the thing , actually it's not a good news for others but for you it is and guess what"

"Stop making a drama and tell me you drama queen"

"Fine, Noah has broke up with Veronica"

"What the hell? Jesus! Are u serious"

"Yes and ask my why"

"Ok why?"

"He has caught her making out with Peter last night at our party"
