"Emily" I called out as I saw her walking through the hallway. She stopped and turned over to catch me waving at her awkwardly. I really don't know what to do after yesterday! Should I comfort her?? Or what?

She waved back and I noticed her puffed eyes. She must have cried all night long! I walked to her and put my arm on her shoulder.

"Yo what's up?" I tried to cheer her up as much as I can and she faked a smile. It's not easy to fix a broken heart!.

"How are you?" She asked me trying to hide her pain.

"I'm okay, how's my baby doing?" I asked squeezing her cheeks , making her chuckle.

"Your baby is fine" Eric joined the conversation making me scoffed into his statement. My baby? Seriously?

"Who's the baby you're talking about?" I asked knitting my eyebrows together.

"Me" he said pointing a finger to himself and pouted. What a cute pain in the ass!

"I was talking about Emily" I pointed out.

"Umm are you guys...a thing?" He asked and giggled sarcastically.

"You're not damn funny Eric, let's go" I dragged Emily and left the hall.

"Wait for me baby" Eric walked behind us shouting.

The day was bored and the interval felt like forever. Our gang was quite. I felt like we were all broken, nobody said a word. Just think how awkward it is!!!! Urgh please someone take me back to the time we had fun!

After minutes of silence we got up from our seats and left the cafeteria and separated to our classes.

"Hey" Noah said snapping a finger in front of my face getting me out of my thoughts.

"Oh Hi" I faked a smile as I felt really uncomfortable around him , Everyone!

"How's your day?" He asked judging my face and I tried hard to hide my complicated emotions.

"Not bad.....actually it's really exhausting" I blurted out and he nodded with a pout! Too cute to resist but still I'm not in a mood. My bad!

"I get it" he smirked and sctratched the back of his head nervously like someone who was about to ask someone out.

"Ok then see you later" I waved and tried to escape.

"Hazel" I stopped as Noah called out my name.

"Yes" I answered and waited for him to reply as he took minutes.

"Nathan and Hannah are building a tree house in our backyard so if you wanna join them..."

"I would love to" I cut him off grinning like a five year old.

"Great so... I'll meet you after school?" He smiled widely.

"Cool I'll be near my locker" I nodded and waved.
