"Take good care of your mother and yours too, Mirage," Clamor said in a low tone. "I know it's hard to go through these days. Your grandfather wasn't just any other old man."

"I know. He was a gem in our monotonous family." Mirage said with his face down in grief.

"Look, I truly understand," Clamor said. "I know the feeling of losing beloved ones. It's not easy, it's painstaking. Your head gets filled with whispers, whispers that don't let you sleep. I've been.....

"Wait, you've lost someone too?" Mirage asked.

"Yes. I've lost too dear people. My father died while fighting a criminal. He was a brave heart. I lost my little cousin in a car accident. She was an innocent girl, didn't deserve to die. Shrieks echoed in my head for endless days."

"I'm really sorry, Clamor," Mirage said with utter silence in his eyes.

"I better go now. I don't want to deepen your sufferings."

"Yes, I get it. Actually my heart feels light now as I've known I'm not alone."

Silence seeped in.

"I have to go now. I'm sorry too," Clamor said and left Mirage's house. 

He walked home. The night sung an eerie song of its own.
