The night passed away painfully. Mirage slept only for few minutes. The sun from his window remained vibrant and warm as ever. He never liked the view from his window. Mundane people doing mundane things, thought Mirage. He couldn't care about the world outside. The world inside of him was hugely distorted, he was looking for ways to set things right.

Mirage took his cell phone from the table and called Clamor. He talked to him as if he knew nothing, which was typically the way he talked. Talking about other stuff was difficult for him. Beating about the bush wasn't his game. However, he managed to fill in something for the time being.

"Clamor, leave that for a second, I want to ask you that would you like to accompany me to the forest in the evening? I asked the neighborhood kids, but they were too afraid to join.

"Why would you like to visit the forest? Clamor asked.

"For hangout, you know. See, I like places where no crowds are present to disturb my silence."

"I'll be there." Clamor's tone was a bit different. It seemed as if he smiled.

"Okay then, see you." Mirage hung up the phone and put it back.

He couldn't fake anymore. Clamor must have sensed that. He is way too smarter than he looks. Damn!
