Beam noticed Forth hesitating in his place. He understood that Forth was contemplating whether to approach him or not. He turned away and controlled the tears that were threatening to fall out. He forced out his standard teasing smile and looked towards Forth.

"It's getting late", Beam said trying to walk past Forth.

Forth caught Beam's wrist and turned him around.

"I guess there is still one more to try", Forth said with a smile and pulled Beam with him.

"No..Forth.. let's.. let's leave", Beam said looking troubled.

But Forth ignored Beam's protests and pulled him near the machine.

"Go ahead", Forth said switching on the machine.

Beam stood trembling near the machine wishing it was just a dream. Forth placed his hand on Beam's shoulder and caressed it softly.

"You will be fine. I am here for you", Forth gave a reassuring smile.

Beam blinked at those words which he had heard often in the past. The words which always made him believe that the world was the safest place. But sadly neither the words were true nor the person who said that was beside him.

"Nah...Am I a kid? I am not riding that. It's funny", Beam tried to joke.

But Forth pulled him close and hoisted him up by his waist effortlessly. Beam gasped at the sudden move and tried to wriggle himself out of Forth's hold. But Forth tightened his grip and made him sit on the tall black horse. He swiped the card near the horse's neck and the monitor in front of Beam powered up to display 'Derby championship – Horse Riding 2018'.

Next moment a stable was displayed on the screen and Forth chose the horse Beam would be riding. He placed the reins on Beam's hands which had a controller fitted to it. Beam looked at Forth troubled who just pointed to the screen with his chin.

Soon the race began and Beam sat still on the horse overwhelmed. Forth stood near Beam and held his hand over the reins. He pressed the controller and started the race. He placed his left hand around Beam's waist and soon the horse began galloping in its place. Forth watched a small smile creep on Beam's face and slowly Beam started enjoying the horse race.

Beam rode the horse for seven minutes, galloping, trotting and jumping over the hurdles. When the game ended, all Forth could see was, the happiness being back on Beam's face and that was all Forth needed for his day to get complete. Beam smiled widely at Forth and threw his left leg over the horse, sitting on the horse with his legs hanging on its sides.

"Was I good?", Beam asked excited and got ready to jump off from the horse.

"Perfect", Forth said spreading his arms waiting to catch Beam when he jumped.

Beam froze on his spot seeing the gesture from Forth. He could see the strong resemblance between Forth and the person he longed to see making him realize why he was so drawn towards Forth. The same tall figure, tanned skin, broad shoulders, long hands, firm chest and the scent, the raw earthly smell.

Beam was more like his mother. Pale and soft skinned, which was more of pink shade from her Chinese genes. His long eye lashes, pointed nose and red lips were all from his mother's genes. His only take away from his father was his jet black hair which he cherished so much. To Beam, his father was a hero, was perfect...like Forth. The only man, who was feared and respected by everyone around him had turned himself into a clown just because Beam wanted to play with a clown for his seventh birthday.
