Chapter 2: Meeting the Friends

Gwen's POV:

I checked the time and it was about an hour till it started and about half an hour till fans started banging to get in like zombies in an apocalypse.

Riley was looking over at something and poked me to get my attention. It was Mitch and Jerome! Oh boy, Riley was already developing a crush on Mitch; I could see it in her eyes. Wait, why were they coming over here? They looked annoyed.

"You guys aren't supposed to be back here! Its a GAMER den not a FANGAMER den." Said Mitch, I guessed he was pretty stressed that's why he was being a tiny bit meanish.

"Oh, really, are we supposed to be at our booth things already?" I said "When we got here they weren't even set up yet."

Mitch was about to say something when, Jason and Tyler (LogDotZip) showed up and asked what was wrong.

"Well these fangirls won't leave!" Mitch whined. I laughed, so that's what they thought we were!

"WE ARE NOT FANGIRLS WE ARE FAMOUS YOUTUBERS!" Riley announced proudly doing her best hero pose staring at the ceiling while unsuccessfully flipping her shoulder length blonde hair and ending up getting her arm stuck in her jacket hood somehow.

She was fidgeting so I started helping her and somehow got stuck in the mess too! How is this even humanly possible!? The four boys were just standing there laughing and Riley was embarrassed and blushing, probably because she messed up in front of Mitch. I rolled my eyes.

"Well don't just stand there, help us!" I ordered. Jason and Mitch went over to help still sort of laughing but they got us free.

"Whew! I thought I was a gonner!" I said rubbing my arm which, by the way hurt. Riley nodded and the boys chuckled.

"Well, if that doesn't prove that their famous YouTubers, I don't know what will!" Said Tyler. At that Mitch and Jerome's jaws dropped. Oh joy, they haven't given up yet.

Mitch sighed, "Well, I'll give them that but they could just be really got acting stalkers!" Mitch said. Sure Mitch, Sure.

"Yeah! We should at least see if they're on the list!" Jerome agreed with Mitch.

"Okay then," Jason continued "what are your YouTube names? Then we can see if your on the list."  Riley nodded and smiled confidently.

"FlareonSlash or Riley," she said.

"and _Bones_127, and my real name is Gwen." I added.

Jason smiled nodded and took a clipboard from Jerome's hand. They literally played tug-a-war over it!

"Jerome, just give it!" Jason demanded.

"NEVVVEEERRR!" Jerome replied enthusiastically.

Mitch cheered on Jerome while Riley and I stepped in.

Jason ended up letting go and Jerome waved in in the air screaming victory. I snuck up behind him and snatched the clipboard from him with ease.

"No Jerome, victory is mine." I said walking away smirking and Riley and Jason laughed. Mitch just stood there patting Jerome's shoulder saying 'Good bacca, you tried your best' over and over again.

I found our names in the long list of words and showed them to Tyler.

He nodded and said "Well, Jerome, Mitch there's your proof."

He was interrupted by a girl walking towards us. She was wearing what I think was a 'Bacon Canadian' shirt (that I designed), ripped black jeans, a YouTube jacket and brown lace-up boots. She also had long black hair and bangs.

Nicole's POV:

I walked into the gamers den. I noticed Mitch and Jerome huddled together and they looked kind of upset. I went over to where Mitch and Jerome were standing and tilted my head. Mitch looked down at me and let go of Jerome.

“What’s wrong you guys?” I asked.

“That girl over there,” Jerome pointed to a girl I didn’t recognize.

“She stole the clipboard from me! Right after I beat Jason at tug-a-war too!” Jerome whined. I stood there and started laughing at Jerome.

“Hey! It’s not funny when someone steals from a Bacca!” Mitch yelled at me. I rolled my eyes and Mitch pulled me in for one of his famous bear hugs.

“Let me go! You're going to suffocate me and then I will die!" He laughed and let go of me. I turned around and noticed 4 pairs of eyes staring at me. I recognized Tyler and Jason but I had no idea who the other two girls were.

“Oh no.” I whispered to myself.

I dont want them to get the wrong idea of Mitch and I. I started to walk over to the group.

“Hi!” I smiled. Tyler and Jason both said hi and walked back over to Mitch and Jerome. I faced the two girls.

“Hey, I’m Nicole!”

“Hi, I’m Gwen!” The girl with the Brown hair said.

“Ummm uhhh, hi I’m Riley.” She seemed kind of uncomfortable.

“Oh! I don’t want you guys to get the wrong idea of Mitch and I! We aren’t together or anything like that. I am his younger sister.” I saw relief flood over Riley.

“Ohhhhh.” they both said at once. I laughed at their reactions. I wondered if Riley liked Mitch. Maybe thats why she was uncomfortable when I walked over to her. I will have to find out later because I have to go set up my booth in 5 minutes!

“Well cya guys later!” I said in a hurry.
