My name is Thandolwethu Ndlovu also know  as the Zulu prince  , the son of the second wealthiest chief globally. I am 18 years old and I have been told that at the end of my academic year i will have an arranged marriage with the   daughter of the wealthiest chief to have walked the earth .They say he's a very humble man ,guess we will have to wait and see .I initially didn't want to go through with the marriage, but I am forced to and I was made aware that I don't have a choice  .I have always though love is something you find on your own and treasure it with your whole heart but clearly not in my case its going to be forced . Since  I am being forced to get married I cut my parents a deal , I would stop giving them and the  elder's  trouble if they allow me to attend my matric year at a school of my choice .Its the least they could do and I asked them to keep the title that I hold a secret I do not want any form of special attention or treatment I just want a normal high school experience .

"Thando ,hurry up or you will be late "shouted my aunty from the kitchen ,your probably wondering why the butler didn't wake me up .Well that because I'm staying with one of my favourite aunts in Cape Town .I headed to the bathroom and got myself ready for my first day of school ,well school started yesterday but I didn't really feel like  going so my first day is officially today.

The time i got downstairs my aunt had already left for work ,she's a nurse .I found a note on the counter with a pair of car keys ,I really hope they delivered the car I asked for and not some expensive sports car .

NOTE:

hey Thando hope you enjoy your day sorry for not being able to take you on your first day of school ,one of my patients checked in this morning so i had to leave early .I left  a R200 hundred rand for you on the counter to get yourself luch at school , I know you have a black card but I wasnt sure if they swipe cards at a school and you dad delivered the car last night while you were asleep.I love you Thando enjoy your day  .Ngicela uziphathe (please behave youself).

After reading my  auntie's note I ate the breakfast she made me.I took my money,  keys and backpack and head outside .

This beast is breath taking ,guess my dad kept his end of the deal .I got im my car and drove tomy new school .

* SKIP TO SCHOOL *

After reciving my time table from the office ,I headed to my first class .To my supprise the classes are packed and fuller to what I am use to ,wait what am I saying ?I had a private teacher come to our house .

when I reached my first class Mr Kok  made me introduce myself to the class as I looked around for a seat ,I noticed that some blond chic was trying to get my attention by pulling her t shirt  down trying to expose her chest I just shook my head as she motioned that I sit next to her .I   looked  back at Mr Kok  and told him I'd like  to have a window seat ,he pointed at a girl who was sitting at the back of the class next  to a huge window ."Miss Nichols please get your unidentified ugly ,dirty paws of the window frame and move to the other end of the table so that this young lad can get some fresh air .Move now!" I felt so bad when I reached the table she got up and moved ,I took a glance at the sketch bok on the desk and I noticed she had drawn herself looking out  the window frame but her reflection in the window was sad .I told her she could have her seat back but she told me that it was ok and that the teacher and students would complain .I wonder why she has such a hard time here ,she's really beautiful ad quite down o earth I swear everybody should be bowing to her feet .Since it was a free period Mr Kok said I should choose someone to give me a  tour around the school .The  girl with the blond hair walked up to our desk "hi  I am   Megan how about I give you the tour I can show you all the best make out spots " .she said licking her lips ,which I found unattractive honestly with those chapped lips ."um nice to meet you ,Mac or Massy or what ever your name is but I got someone to give me the tour already but thanks .You can go back to your seat now ".She looked at me in absolute shock, like  she's  never been rejected or turned down ."Its Megan and who's giving you the tour if not me?". she said rolling her eyes ,I pointed at the girl next to me ."ugg so you going to let a girl who doesn't even know under which race she falls give you the tour ".

She walked away and I turned to  the girl sitting next to me ,"Um hey I am Thandolwethu , you are ?"she lifted her head up and turned to me and stretched out her hand

"um hi ,I am Destiny but everyone calls me Des .Oh and nice name ,is it ok if I call you Thando ?" she smiled shyly ."um yeah I don't mind ,I was hoping you could give me the tour ?I said rubbing my hands on my neck ."sure follow me". After a while of walking through the school two people came running towards her and jumped on her and then turned their attention towards me with a whole lot of protection I their eyes ,they looked like they were ready to attack me .Des quickly chipped in "Hey guys this is Thandolwethu and he's new around here , he asked me to give him the tour "she said. "Hi um and your friend saved me from barbie wanna be by coming with me" I said smiling and looking at her

"Um well im Nessa and this is Mickey ,glad we on the same page # barbie wanna be " Nessa said laughing .

There was an announcement for all the grade 12's to meet the principal in the gym in five minuets .when we made I way to the gym we took our seats on the bleachers (benches) after the principal welcomed the class Megan walked up to the principal nd yanked the mic from his hand "Good morning class of 2020 ,well id like to read a chapter out of little miss charcoals diary )she said pointing at Des )Dear diary its funny how I am about to complete my last year and I still never" . I couldn't let her humiliate Des like that so I got up without anyone noticing me and pulled the fire alarm which cut Megan off immediately and sent water spraying down on all of us .Des remained frozen it was probably shock so I  grabbed her  and threw her over my shoulder  and walked out the gym hall and made it outside where everyone was including the fire fighters .The principal announced that he will be giving us a half day as everyone was miserable and wet .I looked over my shoulder and noticed that Des was asleep probably from the crying ,I might not of heard her cry but I definitely could feel my hoodie was wet .Nessa and mickey walked over to me and Des ."well Des can drive with you ,ill take her car and mickey will take he's .just follow us ok". Nessa said pointing at the pink 325 i.s. in the parking lot .I nodded my head and headed to my 1 30 not far from hers ."could this gir get any more perfect ,its a pitty I'm getting married at the end of the year because she would have bee perfect for me " I thought to myself .I opened the bak door and ayed her o the back seat and took off my hoodie and used it as a pillow  so that her neck wouldn't be sore .I followed Nessa and Mickey to what looked like a dance studio ,I parked my car and took her out the car carrying her bridal style into the building .
