I woke up by the sound of Lily's voice that echoed in my room. It's a saturday and her being here at nine in the morning is not something new.
"Wake up now little chicken!" She screamed as she bended her knees and jumped right at me. I sometimes just want to choke her, really.
"Lily! It's a weekend. Let me sleep for Pete's sake." I said covering my face with a pillow. School has been hectic and the weekend is my only therapy.
"Get up!" She forcedly dragged me out of my bed. "Come on Brixie! We're going somewhere." She continued. I confusingly looked at her, asking her answers of where we were going because I have absolutely no idea.
"Well, my boyfriend and I agreed to go to an arcade and we want you to come with us." She sassily replied. She's wearing a denim mini skirt, a loose white cropped shirt and her signature boots. Guess who is she trying to impress?
"Gosh, you have no conscience." I muttered as I got up and went straight to the bathroom.

"Let's go." Lily screamed as she burst opened the door and pulled me. I was only wearing a blue cropped tank top and a loose midwaist pants. I was tying my right shoe's laces but Lily pulled me, now it's untied.
"I was tying my laces, Lil. Can it wait?" I said as I let Lily pull me towards the front door.
"They're here already. Just hurry up. You can tie it later." Says Lily who was very spirited. I went through her sentence once more and I'm pretty sure I heard 'they're'.
"Wait, what 'they're'?" I asked totally disoriented about this trip and about who are really with us.
"You'll know." She said. I waved goodbye to my pops and mom as Lily shut the door behind us.
Lily went ahead as I stopped for a bit to check if I brought my keys with me and thankfully I did, too lazy to go back up.
"Hurry up, Bri!" Lily yelled. I looked to where they were and saw Jackson, Lily and Paolo. I felt my heart beat rapidly as I slowly walked my way to them.
"Hi Brixie." Says Jackson. We've known each other since summer when Lily introduced me to him.
"Hi." Paolo waved as he handed me a helmet. I was surprised to see him. I didn't know Jackson and Paolo were friends.
"I didn't know Jackson and you were friends." I said. If only I knew, I'd put on a different outfit. He looked so good in his striped polo and denim pants while I look just casual.
"Yeah, he's the first friend I have in school, coincidence." He said, scratching the back of his head, smiling at me.
"Let's go." Lily said as she put on her helmet and rode Jackson's motorcycle. I wore the helmet as Paolo wore his.
"Your laces aren't tied." Paolo said looking at my shoe laces. I have completely forgotten that I haven't done the other lace. Lily was in such a hurry I had no chance to do it.
"Here, let me help you." He said as he bend his knee and went straight ahead and tied my laces.
"There you go." He uttered. I was shocked he did it for me.
"I was about to do it myself." I said as I tucked a portion of my hair behind my ear.
"You're fine. Come on." He said tapping the back seat of his motorcycle. I never expected such action from him. It's too surreal to even just think about it.
I hopped on to his vehicle and he started to drive. Jackson was going too fast, I thought Paolo wanted to go too.
"You should hold on a little tight. I'm catching up with Jackson." He said.
