Third-Person's POV
Kayla was pumped up! She geared up her coat, jacket, winter boots, winter hoodie, pickaxes, ropes, canned goods, and her necklace with her mom's picture in it. She was very happy. And her dad had Barley leaves, which grows during the winter, prepared Kayla Barley Juice for her in order for her to be strong.
Kayla's POV
I was glad about everything, except that when my Dad prepared Barley. Barley is my HATEST food and drink. It is so G-R-O-S-S! Before I went outside I grabbed something upstairs. I grabbed my sweet, marshmallow jawbreaker for a tasty snack. Then I waved good-bye to Dad. OOOOOOH! Adventure Awaits!
Mark's POV
I hope my sweet baby would drink the Barley juice I prepared, because I added the family's secret, Sweet Strawberry with natural incense. And strawberry is my girl's favorite fruit. "Oh Kayla please drink it." I said to myself.
