Chapter XIX

My eyes met with Vanessa's, she was filled with confusion and pain. I sat beside the hospital bed.

"What brings you here stranger?" She asked in a mean voice.

"I'm Taehyung, Amber's plus one in your wedding" I carefully explained.

"Yeah, I remember you, you're that guy that Brian wants to kill" she said.

"I'm just wondering, does Brian ever tell you about Amber?" I asked.

"Yeah, he talks about her all the time, he even said that Amber is always his possession" She answered.

Wtf is he saying? he's saying this to his fiancé, his future wife. He's a natural born psycho.

"Who did this to you?" I asked her.

"Guess who?" she mysteriously said.

"Brian" I answered without any hesitations.

"What the fuck, who the heck are you?" she looked pissed.

"What are your intentions?" she also said.

"Amber's been abducted by Brian" I revealed.

"Shit, is that for real?" she was shocked.

"Yes, and you have to help me, say everything that you know" I begged.

"Okay okay but I'm only helping you because that demon did this to me"she said then rolled her eyes.

"A while ago I saw them in the Hospital" she said.

"Yes , I know" I responded with melancholy in my voice.

"Then what do you want to know?" she asked.

"His plans, what are his plans? he says something to you right?" I asked hoping for an answer.

"What do I get in return?"she teased.

If I didn't need her I would be the one to hurt her, she's so annoying.

"What do you want? I'll give you anthing" I made a deal.

"anything?" she said with annoyance on her voice.

"yes, so please can you immediately tell me? we are running out of time" I begged.

"What I only know is that Brian has an old house that he bought, I think its somewhere on the north, it's the only house located between the forest and a mile away from the highway, he took me there when he proposed" she explained.

"that's it?" I asked for further details.

" Yes, that's it" she said and smiled.

"Are you sure?" I asked again.

"Yes, now the deal" she laughed out.

We talked more about the deal we made then she told me how Brian almost killed her.

She said that she was begging Brian to marry her but Brian insisted that he'll only marry Amber. If he only wants to marry Amber then why did he cheat?

She also said that Brian beat her until she became unconcious and extracted her blood then put it on a container.

Up close Vanessa was filled with bruises, wounds and cuts all over her body. It was obvious that she almost lost her life for begging a psychotic demon to marry her, poor Vanessa she deserves more than this eventhough she is annoying as fuck.

I handled things with Vanessa so I went straight to the office to check how things are going. My office is filled with documents ready to be signed, so I just signed them.

After I finished signing documents, I grabbed my laptop and searched for old houses near the city but I failed to find one. Almost all of the old houses are said to be demolished and the maps are limited.

Not knowingly, I fell asleep on my office. I haven't slept yet since Amber was kidnapped. I'm worried that right now Amber might be dead.

Amber's POV

After Taehyung failing to save me, I felt hopeless i don't know what to do.

I was again chained up on the bed, couldn't move because I was running out of ideas to escape this hell house.

Brian entered the room, he came to me then punched the wall behind me.

"Why are you trying to make me kill you?" he asked in a furious voice.

I didn't answer him, I just glared at him.

Then out of no-where he punched me on the face that made me spit blood. I felt his force towards my face. It was followed by another punch but this time it was on my diaphragm, continuous blood flown in my nose. I can feel my body weakened as more punches hit my body.

Numbness on my arms and legs are the reason why I can't fight back at him, he was too strong for me.

I was unconcious already when Brian stopped, all I can think of is how I'm going to die.

I was lying at the bed looking like a lifeless body and Brian is sitting on the couch watching me when suddenly he grabbed his phone on his pocket and took a picture of me.

Even if my vision was blurred because of my body weakness but the camera flash made it sure that he captured a picture.
