"What kind of music do you like," Sean asked. I was a little shocked that he would ask this out of the blue, but I answered anyway.

"I like heavy metal, but I like older metal, too."

"Oh? Like what?"

I get out my phone at a red light and put on my 'Favorites' Playlist. The first one was Spoonman by Soundgarden.

"Listen to this playlist and you get your answer."

We listened to Soundgarden until some good ol' Slipknot came on. I smiled as Duality came on, it was my dad's favorite until he died. I loved it with him, so when I listen to this, I remember him. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sean raise his eyebrows, which made me smile even more. After that song, Critical Darling came on. I tapped my finger on the steering wheel and Sean looked confused.

I skipped Iowa and the next one was Hemorrhage by Fuel. I silently mouthed the words until I couldn't stand not singing. I sang the song with my mother's singing voice. I had her angelic voice when I sang, but I rarely sing in front of others.

Memories are just where you laid them
Drag the waters till the depths give up their dead
What did you expect to find
Was there something you left behind
Don't you remember
Anything I said when I said

Don't fall away
And leave me to myself
Don't fall away
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands
Love lies bleeding

Hold me now I feel contagious
Am I the only place that you've left to go
She cries her life is like
Some movie black and white
Dead actors faking lines
Over and over and over again she cries

Don't fall away
And leave me to myself
Don't fall away
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands
Love lies bleeding

And I want you
But you turned away
You don't remember
But I do
You never even tried

Don't fall away
And leave me to myself
Don't fall away
And leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again
Leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again
Leave love bleeding in my hands
In my hands again, oh

I finished my singing and Sean praised my voice and said that I should sing more, but it was all a blur. I pulled up to the Airbnb and got out with my phone in my hand. I opened the front door and walked to the island and set down my rucksack and phone, face down. I went back out and got the Tim plushies, while Sean got the giant Sam.

I went back in and set the Tims on the island as well while Sean went to a different room with Sam. I went through the house before he Skyped me, so I knew where he was going. He was going to the bedroom. There was two bedrooms. One downstairs in the basement and the one he was going to. I walked behind him, but he didn't notice because I'm small and light, so I don't make much sound. He walked in and as soon as he set down the plushie, I set my chin on his shoulder. He tensed and I side glanced to see his face. He was blushing, which made me blush. He sighed and relaxed, so I went out to see what was in the kitchen.

I got to the kitchen and opened the cupboard. The first thing I saw was cookies. They were monster cookies, my favorite. I grabbed them, but before I even opened them, Sean ran in, snatched them out of my hands and ran off. I chased him around the house until he went downstairs. I heard him go to the cinema part, so I snuck up on him. He was looking at the room in awe, and as soon as he sat down on the huge couch to fit a whole party, I snuck up on him and put my head by his and rested my arms on the front of his chest. He gasped and I took the cookies from him and ran up the stairs. I heard him run up the stairs, so I hid in the cupboard where I found the cookies. There was basically nothing there, so I fit perfectly. I heard him walk past and call my name. I hear him walk past again, so I open the cookies and he opens the door.

I smile and he laughs. I get out of the cupboard and he snatches the cookies again, running downstairs once more. I race down there and he's laying on his back on the couch, eating a cookie. I go to him and grab the cookies from him. He gives me the puppy dog eyes and I give him three cookies. I go back up with the cookies in hand and set them down on the island by my phone. I get a pot out, margarine, and popcorn kernels.

I put some margarine in the pot and turn on the heat. The margarine melts and I put a hand full of popcorn kernels in the pot and quickly cover it. I hear the popcorn pop as I shake the pot back and forth to mix the kernels up. It stops popping, so I uncover it and pour the popcorn in a big bowl and lightly salt it, mixing it up a little. I put more margarine in and repeat what I did before. I pour the last of the popcorn in the big bowl and salt it a little more. As I heard Sean come up, I put a little bit more in the pot and put the cover on.

He came up a little later and went by me, looking at the pot. I uncovered it and one kernel popped up. I caught it and ate it, while Sean watched in amazement. The next one popped and I caught it with my mouth. Sean attempted to do the same, but failed. I laughed as he tried again, but failed again. About two minutes into that, they were either in the bowl or on the floor.

I picked up the bowl and handed it to Sean. He popped a few in his mouth while I got cookies and my phone. I told Sean to go downstairs, and he did. I went to my bag and got out The Grudge. I love this movie, so I brought it along when the owner of the house had a cinema. I then remembered that I get really paranoid after I watch it, so I went to the bedroom and grabbed Sam. I walked back downstairs and saw Sean laying on his stomach with his head turned towards the movie projection that shows it waiting, eating one piece of popcorn at a time. I shrugged in my head and snuck up on him again.

I set the cookies between his shoulder blades and watched him struggle. He finally gave up and I took them off. He got up and slowly took the cookies from my hands. I took a cookie out and let him have them. He set them down on the couch and enveloped me in a hug. I hugged back and smiled when I rested my head on his chest. I heard his heartbeat and mine instantly matched up with his. He rested his head on mine and sighed. He let go and I asked him.

"Why did you just hug me out of the blue?"

"I was cold."

I chuckled and shook my head as he walked back to his seat, picking up the popcorn and cookies. I put The Grudge in and sat next to Sean with Sam next to me as well. As soon as it started, I smile.
