A Day Out

When we pulled up to a parking spot, I looked at the amount of shade at the park. I turned off the car and got out, bringing the rucksack with me. Sean got out and we both went to a big oak tree that produced a lot of shade. Once we sat down in the shade, I leaned my back against the tree, along with Sean.

There were a few people at the park, but not a lot. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Sean laughing. I looked over at him and saw that a dalmatian had jumped on him and started licking is face. I clapped my hands twice and the dog came over to me. It sat in front of me and I pet it's head, scratching it's ears and under it's collar. I looked at the collar and saw it's name. Maximus. I deducted it to be a boy, so I cooed at it like a baby. The owner ran up and stopped by the dog. I got up and they shook my hand.

"Than you for finding my dog, miss, I don't know what I would've done without you."

"Actually, he was the one to find him. Your pretty dog came up and started licking his face. You should be thanking him."

"Well, thank both of y-" He stopped himself when he looked at Sean. A fan, great. I love fans!

"Oh hey, you're Jacksepticeye. I couldn't go to PAX because of my little one with my wife now, but all of us in my family love watching you."

"That makes me very happy to have you and your family as fans, you seem very nice."

He turned back to me and his mouth dropped open when I took off my sunglasses.

"Oh my god! You're Insomniac! All of us are such big fans, even Maximus here. Can I get a picture with both of you?"

"Yes! I love my fans."

"Of course, I love my fans too."

He pulled out his phone and Sean and I went on either side of him. He snapped a selfie and I hugged Maximus. I hear the man take a picture and I giggle when Maximus licks my face. I get up and wave to them as they walk down the path. I wipe off my face with my hand and playfully ruffle Sean's hair with said hand. Sean didn't know I wiped off my face with said hand, so he laughed and swatted my hand away.

I rested my hand by my side and sat back down in the shade. Sean sat by me and I rested my head on his shoulder, but only for a moment, because it was getting humid and sticky out. I sat up and wiped my forehead playfully, and got up. I started walking towards the car, when Sean came running up. He handed me my rucksack and I face palmed. He laughed and patted my shoulder.

I unlocked the doors and got in. As soon as I turned on the car, the A/C kicked in, which both made us sigh. I started to drive to the lake, when I pulled out my phone and handed it to Sean.

"Could you be a gentleman and play the 'Favorites' playlist?"

"Yes I can, beautiful."

"Have you looked in the mirror lately?"

"Smooth."

He played it and it played where we left off. Sean bobbed his head until Chop Suey! came on. He went from slightly bored to an excited boy on Christmas. He started air drumming, when he made a mistake.

"Not that symbol, the one to the left of it."

"How do you know?"

"Photographic memory."

He thought it over then gasped.

"I was wrong about drumming?"

He fake fainted and I poked his stomach. He laughed and sat back up, which made me chuckle. I saw the lake and I smiled at thinking how cold it would be. I parked the car and Sean's smile grew. I grabbed my bag and got out, spotting a changing place not far away. I shut the door and Sean did too. I locked the doors and started heading toward the changing place. Sean jogged up to me and asked.

"You do know that I didn't bring a swimsuit, right?"

I pulled out his swim shorts and kept on walking. He went to the men's changing place and I went to the women's changing place. I came out, but found no Sean. I waited a little bit, but no Sean came up. I was about to leave, when someone by the name of Sean picked me up bridal style and ran to the water.

He stopped by the water and set me down, and I walked through the water. It was surprisingly warm, but cold. Like room temperature, but a little colder. I walked out until the water was up to my neck and turned to Sean, who was right behind me. I was about to say something, but I saw Mark, Amy and an adorable doggo. they were in their swimsuits and the dog immediately jumped in the water. Amy walked out with Mark, the dog was e few feet away. The dog swam up to me and licked my face while I pet it's dry head. Mark and Amy swam up to us and Amy went by me while Mark went by Sean.

"So, how's Mark? Has he been good," I ask Amy while still petting the doggo.

"He's been good. We've been arguing less now that we listen to each other."

I nod and notice that Mark was trying to dunk Sean. He was succeeding. I swim over and Mark let's Sean come up. He takes gasps of air and I wipe the water from his eyes. He smiles and kisses my forehead and I kiss his nose. Amy squeals and the dog barks while swimming back on shore, but Mark was glaring daggers at Sean. What was his deal? He has Amy and he should feel grateful. I swim up to Mark and smile. He smiles back and I put my hands on his shoulders. His smile falters, then goes away. I tell him one thing.

"Hold your breath."

I pushed down on his shoulders and his whole body went under. Amy and Sean laughed while I let him up. He took deep gasps of air while wiping his face and I smiled at him.

"That's for dunking Sean."

Sean kissed my forehead and I kissed his nose.

"That's for avenging me, beautiful."

"We might as well get more work done, bye guys," Amy said while practically dragging Mark to the shore. I wave at them and they wave back. They leave to their car and the doggo following behind. I follow suit and swim towards shore.

"I'm going to get there first," Sean yelled.

I smiled and dove under, streamlining and going very fast. I got on land first and walked nonchalantly to the women's changing place. I change into my clothes and wring out my hair, and put my hair into a bun so it wouldn't get on my shirt. I wringed out my swimsuit and put it in my bag. I walked out of the changing place and waited for Sean. I was about to leave again, when Sean picked me up bridal style and carried me to the car. He set me down by the passenger side door, but I stopped him.

"Do you have a license, mister?"

He opened his mouth, but shut it and shook his head. I patted his shoulder and got in the driver side. I started the car and drove down to our house because it was almost 3 pm. Sean looked at the time too and his eyes widened.

"It's already 3?!"

I nodded and turned down the road to our house.
