Pike vs zionsville

It was the first game of the season and I was so excited. I worked so hard for this moment and waited so long and It finally came. I remeber telling my dad my goal for this game. I said "I'm not gonna let these girls get scrappy with us and make easy shots" . My dad said good as he took me to the bus stop.All day at school the only thing on my minds was the game.After school I then went to my friend Abriana's locker to wait for her but we had to wait for her boyfriend Jermey. Jeremey was a jerk to me but at the end of the day he loved him some Abriana's. After Jeremy left we headed to the locker to do some homework and talk about game day plans. After a few hours of getting hype and talking about gameday plans it's was time to play. We got our uniforms which were so beautiful they were white with the our school name in the middle and the Nike sign in the left corner of our jerseys. We then stepped on the court shooting around and warming up, when Coach Jones called us up to tell who was starting and what play were going to do offensively and defensively. After we found out that who was starting (I was starting)We went out and shoot free throws and stretched as the remaining minutes on the clock ran down. We then matched up and jumped ball. Zionsville got the ball first and we dropped back into defense in first half I went after every ball and steal that we had.In have time we were up by 5 coach congratulates us and tells us to keep it up. The second half they came back with fast breaks and three pointer they were then in the lead by 5. after the game coach was okay we were upset but I got over it I mean I did have all our steal and defensive stops and hustle points. Also I was four from four of the line. I got dressed after coaches lecture and went to my mom. She said to me good job Bri and all was well.
