Thunder woke me up. I jumped from my bed and to the nearest one. I didn't know which it was until I could smell his scent. Maverick. He was out cold. But he pulled me to him holding me against his warm body. I buried my head in his chest. He is like the others. Just doesn't want to let his heart break.

I tried to wrap my arms around him. He pulled me closer. I finally gave up and let his warm embrace hold me. I fell asleep in his arms even with the storm raging outside.

Hushed sounds were around me. I woke up warm. Then realized what happened last night. I looked up at Maverick. He was still asleep. I buried my head against his chest again. He started moving. "Shut up." He groaned. He went to roll and stopped himself. Then covered us both up. "What are you doing in my bed?" He asked hushly . "Got cold." I answered in the same tone.

"Doubt it." He said. "Storms." I said. He pulled me closer. "Not anymore." He said. I stayed under the covers with him. He kissed my forehead. "Might need to get up." I told him. "No." He said. "It's Monday." I said. "Your going down today then." He said.

"Not if I beat ya first." I said. "I win, you shower with me. You win, you get to sleep next to me for a week." He dealt. "Make that two weeks." I said. He smirked. "Deal baby." He said. I got up and went to the bathroom. I then came out and my clothes were already out. I changed before eating breakfast with them.

After breakfast, I followed Maverick down to the guards gym for practice. All morning we were battling for who slept where. I slipped and fell back onto my butt and back. "Giving up?" He asked. "Nope. But my ankle hurts." I said. "Not giving up." He said. I got my leg between us and shoved him off of me. He lost his balance going over the rail and into the pool below.

I crawled to the edge and looked over at him. He was floating in the deep end of the pool. "You f*cking win." He said. "I'll let you carry me back to the bedroom." I said. He got out of the pool and walked up the stairs over to me. He picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder. Then walked back to our room. He dumped me on a bed and started taking his wet clothes off.

"What happened to you?" Louis asked. "Fell into a pool." Maverick said. "Adrian?" Louis asked. Maverick pointed at me. "Rules of the gym are, stop to check any injuries before continuing." I said. Adrian and Jacob came in. "What happened?" Jacob asked. "Probably sprained my ankle while he took a swim." I said.

"She shoved me into the pool." Maverick said. "Rule one of the gym. If an injury is possibly there, then stop, check, if no injury is present then procede." Jacob said. I looked at Maverick. "Don't even." He said. "Not my fault." I said. "Shower. Your sweaty." Maverick said picking me up. "How about a bath." Louis said.

He ran a bath. Then took me from Maverick. "I've got her. Wash the pool water off. You know who may not like that she possibly sprained her ankle." He said. "Ok, we were in the middle of a duel and she fell back. I didn't realize it actually was hurting until she shoved me off with her foot!" Maverick said stepping into a shower.

"Mind if I?" Louis asked. I nodded. He helped me undress and into the water. He rinsed my hair and started washing it. "F*ck this." A foot dipped into the tub. "I got it." I was pulled between two legs. My hair was rinsed out then conditioner. "Can you let it set?" I asked. A kiss was placed on my cheek. "I should have made sure you were ok after you fell. That was my fault." Maverick said.
