My day started out like any other or so I thought. I woke up and began getting ready for the day. I looked into the mirror while braiding my (h/l)(h/c), and I saw Javier looking at me. He said "Feliz cumpleaños hermosa" as he gave me a hug from behind and placed his chin on my head.

"So princesa, what do you want to do today?" Javier asked

"hmmm, let me think, maybe go for a walk in town. or something i'm not sure"

"Well whatever you want we will do hermosa"

"Gracias  bebe"

Javier and I left my tent and began walking to the horses. It seemed as if everyone else forgot. It hurt but its ok. I think. We got on the horses and rode into town. Javier got off his horse and then helped me off mine. We walked through town and found a cute little bakery. We went inside and looked around. Although we didn't get anything in the bakery or in town we still had fun.

As the day turned to evening we found our horses and rode to a small lake. I had no idea what was happening or why we were there but I went with it. I got off my horse and looked around. The sun was setting and let me tell you the view was beautiful. Javier looked at me and said "Y/n I love you so much. You are beautiful, smart, kind, funny and so unique. I love you so much which is why I wanted to ask you to marry me. I mean if you want, so what i'm saying is Y/n Y/m/n Y/l/n will you marry me and become Y/n Y/m/n Escuella?"

As he was saying this he began getting on his knee and pulled out a ring. When he was done talking I was in tears. I could only nod my head as he stood up and pulled me into a hug. We stayed like that for a while. Everything felt so peaceful.

After an hour we went back to camp and something felt weird. I mean yeas i was happy but the camp looked quiet. To quiet. I looked around camp and it looked slightly lit up. It was more decorated then normal.

I walked further into camp and then everyone jumped out and yelled surprise. This was the second time i nearly cried today. Javier came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me and Tilly, Mary Beth and Karen came over to me and hugged me. Miss Grimshaw came over with a cake. I don't know who made it or how it got here but it looked good. I blew out the candles as everyone sang happy birthday.

Dutch began playing music from his gramophone and people began dancing. Javier pulled me close to his chest and we began to dance. I looked into his brown eyes. He lightly kissed my forehead then placed his forehead on mine. He told me that he loved me. As the night went on people went back to their tents.

He walked me back to my tent and I felt his lips brush against mine. Butterflies filled my stomach and I couldn't help but smile. He looked into my eyes and said "Buenos noches hermosa, I love you" I starred into his eyes and said "I love you too"

He hugged me and went back to his tent.

This was truly the best birthday ever.

I truly have the best bo- fiancé. That might be hard
