An imagine in the "Surprise Baby Shower" series. .................................................... Y/N's pov "Babeeee." Zach whined as I've been asleep almost past noon. Today was the 4th of July and he was going over to my family's house with me to celebrate.
"5 more minutes." I said tiredly, pulling the cover over my head.
I felt the covers being yanked off of me and someone pulling me out of bed. He put me over his shoulder and jumped around for a bit making sure I was up now.
"Are you up?!" He yelled, still moving around like crazy.
"Ughhh yesss. I'm up." I laughed.
He put me down.
"Good." He said laughing too.
I went to my closet and picked out an outfit to wear to the cookout.

After getting my outfit out, I went into the bathroom to shower.
A few minutes later I came out, fully dressed with my makeup done and I noticed that Zach was getting the twins ready.
Y/d/n was wearing a cute dress. I added a red flower to her hair and some red shoes that almost matched mine.

I gave her some earrings that were the shape of the American flag. I smiled at how adorable she looked.

I gave him some red shoes too.
Zach went downstairs and started making the Mac and cheese that we were gonna bring over there. Once he was done he went upstairs and showered and changed into a white button shirt and some jeans with some red shoes also.
We get in the car and he starts driving towards my parents house. My mom comes out with my dad and my sister who happens to have her kids with her too. Y/d/n and Y/s/n ran to their older cousin Katie while I hugged my sister and my parents. My dad took the Mac and cheese from Zach and went in the house as my mom hugged him. My family loveeed Zach.
But I mean who doesn't.
I smelt the food as soon as the door opened and I saw smoke coming from the backyard, signaling that's where everyone was. I went through the fence with Zach and the twins. Everyone greeted us happily and I sat with my cousins who were girls and aunts and my mom while the twins played with the other kids and Zach stayed with my dad and my uncles and my cousins who were boys.
We ate and talked and laughed until nightfall.
That's when we pulled out the fireworks and sparklers and things like that. Zach and I smiled as we watched the twins enjoy themselves with our family.
He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and planted small kisses on my neck here and there.
I smiled, because for that one moment....
