CHAPTER SEVEN, LYDIA

"johnny johnny, we summon you. johnny johnny, you are welcome" they repeat in unison.

they repeat it over and over and nothing happens. they were about to give up till

they felt a cold rush, "he's here guys"

they all immediately stood up, slightly terrified, "so what now?" daniel asks, "i don't know. i guess we wait" colby shrugs and they all just stand there, staring at each other. sabrina was practically squeezing daniel's arm.

"ahhhhh" avalon shouts as she points behind rosalie and jonah, "t-there was something behind you guys. i promise you there was a little boy behind you" avalon stutters.

"it must be johnny!" corbyn exclaims as sabrina gives him a weird look, "why are you excited that there is a freaking ghost with us right now"

"dude, sabrina it's cool" sam inquired as he smiles, "yeah"

all of a sudden, it's dark. no lights. just plain darkness.

then, there's light again, only thing missing is someone

raine.

"g-guys where's raine? she was just beside me" adalyn and sam questions.

everyone looks around and there is no sign of raine anywhere.

"try and find her" a soft, squeaky voice speaks up, "i know i have bad ears but did anyone else just hear that?" jonah looks around.

"yeah"

"find her" the voice speaks again. they then all sit on the couch, almost like they were pushed. they couldn't speak either until chasity forced her mouth open, "who are you and why are you doing this to us?" chasity asks.

"lydia" was all the voice said. then everyone could talk again, "um, what was that?" sam asks.

"guys?! we're literally those kids in the stupid horror films that die! we're gonna die guys" sabrina shouts, "we're not going to die, sabby, calm down!" daniel assures her.

"your just paranoid" camila tells her, "we have to find raine, like seriously" zach tells them as he gets up and starts looking around.

"someone come with me to look upstairs" rosalie gestures to the stairs as sabrina, corbyn, adalyn, and zach tag along.

they trudge up the stairs and begin looking in all the rooms when sabrina screams and they run behind her. sabrina slowly opens the closet door and there was raine, with something in her mouth and around her hands. zach takes the thing out of her mouth and she begins talking as adalyn scrambles to untie her.

"finally, i thought i was going to die" raine stutters out, "how did you end up in here?" corbyn asks.

"honestly i don't even know. one second i'm with you guys, the next i'm in here all tied up" raine confesses.

"well let's go tell the others that we found you!" rosalie smiles and they all rush down the stairs, "we found her guys!"

they all rush over to her and hug her, interrogating her, "guys guys! your bombarding me with questions, i don't know how i ended up in there ok?"

as she said that, a light starts flickering up the stairs. slowly, all of their heads turn to look at it while corbyn being the brave person he is, starts walking up there with everyone trailing behind him.

corbyn turns the corner, into the room and he yelped, "what in the world is that!" camila points toward the thing floating in the air, staring at them with glowing red eyes.

then, it vanishes.

"what if it really is a ghost?" adalyn whispers, "are you sick? i think you're going crazy" zach laughs sarcastically.

"ok, i'm really starting to get scared" chasity speaks and goes closer to colby, "same" raine stutters.

they slowly start walking down the stairs and sit back on the couches. camila slowly picks up the diary, "guys didn't the thing say their name was lydia?"

"yeah" everyone nods their heads, "and remember how all of our names were in this book?" everyone slowly nods their heads again, "maybe she's here for revenge. but we have to like prove to her that we're not the people that was in here life"

"so now we're dealing with two ghosts?! first the stupid lydia girl and that johnny boy" jonah rubs his temples

"yeah, i guess so" rosalie shrugs as jonah rolls his eyes, "anyways mila is right! maybe we do have to prove that we're not the people that ruined her life" corbyn agreed

"does anyone know what time it is?" avalon asks and daniel brings out his phone, "almost 10:30"

"so what do we do now? sam and colby? you guys are the ones that know all about this ghost stuff" everyone turns their attention towards them.

"i don't know" they both shrug and rosalie rolls her eyes, "of course you don't"

i'm hoping this one is long enough. i swear i'm having no inspiration to write but it's coming back..

honestly, to me this story is kind of confusing
