CHAPTER TEN, COMPROMISING

"i think johnny told me that lydia doesn't like it when things don't go her way. so, we have to show that we aren't scared of her even when we are" zach slowly eyes sabrina and she rolls her eyes, "how will i do that? she literally scares the s-"

"just, don't act afraid" daniel whispers into her ear.

as daniel does that, lydia, returns. she does this creepy little laugh but everyone just sat there, staring and looking unfazed, "why aren't you guys being afraid" her face starts looking extra angrier

"um, she looks like she's going to kill someone" camila whispers to jack as he nods his head. then, she looked normal but see through and disappeared.

"we did it guys!" avalon gushed as everyone cheered, "i don't know about you guys, but i'm feeling kind of tired"

"same" raine agreed, "maybe we could just take a little nap" raine suggested.

everyone nodded in unison as they slowly drifted to sleep

1 hour later

everyone's ears was filled with a loud, vicious scream. there eyes shot open to see chasity eyes burning with tears as she hugged colby tightly.

there eyes turned towards colby as they saw a knife going right into his heart. sam rushed over and joined the hug slowly starting to cry as everyone stared in shock.

corbyn went over and hugged chasity tightly along with raine doing the same to sam. everyone else was too shocked to react to the scene. they had just witnessed two of their friends dying.

"why colby? he never did anything" chasity sobbed into corbyn's shoulder. a few minutes had passed by as the crying had slowly stopped.

"i'm sorry" johnny had spoke, "i guess she was too mad about you guys not reacting"

"well we need to get out of here before someone else dies" camila mumbled. it was silent until johnny had spoke again, "hm maybe apologize"

"what would we apologize for?! she's the one doing this to all of our friends! we've lost adalyn and colby, she should be the one apologizing" chasity fumed

"calm down cj" rosalie whispered to chasity and she nodded her head, "for making her angry. try to get on her good side"

"how would we do that?" daniel inquires, "compliment her. tell her she doesn't need to be angry. tell her your sorry. basically be nice"

"hm" they all start brainstorming ideas on getting on her good side, "how long do we have, johnny"

"6 hours" the voice slowly fades away, implying that he would now stop talking.

"now we just wait" jonah announces as everyone sits and stares at each other, "knock knock" avalon began, "nows not the time, ava" jack advised and she nodded her head, looking towards the ground
