But Bunny?? (chapter two)

There Taustis stood the answer to his questions. The ears are real and matched Sam cuteness perfectly wait what... I mean the ears fit him.
Sam stop in confusion. What are real? Is he talking about my tail? I can always say its a fake I wear to match my hat but that doesn't seem right... At that moment it came clear to Sam what was real. He lifted his hand up slowly his nose starting to twitch in fear.

His hat had slipped off his ears.

Sam's breathing became quick and unsteady as he started to shake. Taurtis quickly came back to the real word when he heard the breathing and saw the ears fall to lay flat on Sam's head. Taurtis knew from studying bunnies that the nose twitching and flattened ears were a tale tell sign of deep fear. Taking slow cautions steps like approaching a scared animal (which wasn't to far off). Sam quickly picked up on this and start to back up tipping over the couch before be stuck in a corner.
Taurtis picked up a carrot and crouch down to Sam's level still moving slowly. "Hey Sam? You're ok, I'm right here Sam. No one's going to get you. Here I have a carrot, would you like some?" Taurstis whispered calmly. Sam hesitantly reach out for the carrot fear still clouding his eyes. Nibbling on the orange vegetable, Taustis decided now would be time to pet Sam, which will hopefully calm him down.
Placing his hand and gently sliding it back he realized that this was Sam not an animal but he stopped caring the minute the big tearful eyes looked up at him, chubby cheeks and all. Sam feeling comfort he leaned into the warm body that gave the feeling to him and falling asleep after a few minutes.

Taustis heard the soft snoring and slowly picked Sam up who kicked alittle but didn't wake back up. What the hell just happened? Oh my god. Sam is a hybrid. A bunny hybrid aren't those rare?? Taurstis placed Sam onto his bed and just as be was leaving Sam whimpered and grabbed his hand. Taurtis quickly got the idea and got in the bed beside him, Sam curled up close to the body of warmth causing Taustis to giggle and cuddle him too.

Sam woke to warm happiness instead of cold and afraid which new but he wasn't complaining. He felt a sensation that he hasn't felt since his dad died' his ears were able to moving freely. Sam lifted his ears to listen cause he was to comfy to open his eyes. He heard a train far in the distance, a bus a few blocks, and some soft breathing slowly getting deeper. Then a yawn which caused the thing he was laying on to rise. Opening his eyes realized he was on a human lifting and turn his head he found on very sleepy Taustis beneath him. Blush rushed to his face. M-me and Taustis are C-CUDDLING!! Sam tried to move a way but the arms on his back held onto him tighter, "And where do you think your going, hmm?" Dear lord Taustis morning voice is so hot. "U-uh," "That's what I thought Sam" Taustis smiled tiredly as he began to pet the bunny boy once more.

"Hey Taustis? What are you going to do?" Sam questioned his ears falling again as he refused to look Taustis in the eye. "What do you mean?" Sam sighed his eyes filling with tears that threaten to fall, "You know now Taustis. You probably called the hunters by now and are holding me here so I won't run." It hit Taustis like a bullet, Sam's one of the rarest breeds and has been hiding for so long that he thinks he can trust anyone with this information. "Samgladiator, look at me," Sam's head slowly turned to meet Taustis', "I didn't call anyone no-ones going to get you, you fell asleep in the corner and I tried to move you to your bed but you had your heart set on cuddles." Taurtis giggle still petting Sam as he rubbed his eyes.

Can I really trust him? I have for so long but this is different, isn't it? Maybe just maybe I can trust him with something this big. A loud grumble of both their tummies told them they wouldn't be able to laze about much longer. "Can on Sam I'll make some carrot stew," Taurtis smiled grabbing Sam's hand in the process to pull him to his feet. Sam followed close behind till told to wait on the stairs. Taurtis grabbed the curtains he bought to keep the ghost for watching them and put them up so Sam wouldn't have to worry about being spotted. " Ok Sam you can come down now," as Sam did he realized what Taustis did and smile instantly, " Thank you Taurtis, hehe, no one's very done this for me after finding out" Sam shook his head as he headed for the dining room table to wait.

After about 30 long minutes the stew was ready and Sam was about jumping for joy at the smell of it. "Taustis it has to be done now. Please?" Sam whined practically beg for the delicious carrot filled stew which couldn't finish fast enough for Sam. Taurtis finally walk out of the kitchen holding the two bowls spoons in them " Ok ok the stews done calm down Bunny Boy" Taustis chuckled at Sam's adorably childish ways... I mean his childish actions.

"So what are... we going to do, Taustis? The hunters will find me again and I'll have to run away. I don't want to put something like that on your shoulders," Sam sighed after finishing his bowl, "I should leave you probably don't want me here anyways. I'm sorry." Sam got up put his bowl in the sink and started toward the room. " Sam wait. Your not going anywhere, at least not without me. I want to protect you and am weather you like it or not."

Just then someone knocked on the door.
