"I promised mom to do what I can, with that I will help those I can." He would look from Artemis to Scorch. "That means getting the kit better and getting you back home Scorch." He looked to him with a sincere gaze.
"In all honesty Ares you two are my family now and I tend to stand by you... Let us focus on helping Twist, Winter, and Mothkit." He would smile to him causing a sigh to escape his mouth. Not able to say anything back he would hear barking in the distance.
"You all stay here." He would turn at a run seeing a larger dog chasing a small yellow tom. He would skid in between them and square up at the dog, staring into its large eyes. His gaze was cold and focused as his tail waved back and forth. He never broke his gaze as he took a step forward which caused the dog to step back. With a turn of the dogs head it backed down and padded off. "You ok?" His tone was still cold as he turned to the small fluffy yellow tabby tom with green eyes.
"Yes thanks to you mister!" His tone was bright and cheerful as he looked up to Ares.
"Call me Ares; come my family and friends are in the red twoleg den." He would gesture for him to follow as they both padded over. Scorch and Artemis were with Twist and Winter, Mothkit now up and jumping around.
"Everything all good?" Scorch would ask looking to Him and the small tom.
"Yes he was being chased that is all." He would shrug looking to him.
"My name is Autolycus! Everyone calls me Auto though'' He chirped happily as he looked to them. After a round of introductions they soon would all talk. With a bright smile and a small dance Autolycus was grateful for his new friends. He and Mothkit played a bit before sitting off and talking. He would sit off with Scorch and Artemis as they sunned themselfs; Watching Twist take a nap with a full belly and the shy Winter watch Auto and Mothkit.
A few days had passed. Ares still struggled remembering everyones name but enjoyed spending time helping them. Soon enough the silence was broken as two cats leapt the fence in a panic. The light grey she went right towards Twist, Winter, Auto and Mothkit. He would watch her for a bit before Artemis would pad over along with Scorch. This caused him soon to follow and with that the White tom came over as well. He was more stern then the she cat as they talked and introduced themselves.
"We here are planning to survive together... you two wish to join us?" He spoke looking to look to the ash on their pelts.
"Of course." The she cat I now know as Dawn answered for her brother Blizzard. He would nod in gratitude as he sat down.
"As much as I enjoy staying here, I am not a fan of these twolegs." He spoke honestly as soon Auto would jump up excited.
"I know a place! It is by a river and near the pines and the oak woods!" He would chirp excited to give the suggestion.
"We could always sleep in the trees..?" Winter's tone was very quiet it clear she didn't speak much as is
"Sounds perfect, are we ready to start our journey together?" Scorch would pipe up. Everyone would nod in agreement at the choice. Soon at a slow pace they made their way out to find their new place to stay. To start a life together as group of friends and family.
