Penelope's POV-

When I woke up groggily, I was met with my mother's eyes staring back at me.

"AHHH, Jesus christ mother, what the hell!" I screamed jolting awake. She simply smiled at me,  "Good you're up. We have to get you to the bus Station, so get ready."

I got up and began to get dressed, this whole situation was stupid. I got expelled from my last school for fighting, but it wasn't my fault. He deserved it too, but now I have to go to this C rated school.

I'll be honest, this is bullshit.

The headmaster, Alaric Saltzman, had accepted me to his school and my mom had told me I was lucky and school of magic would accept me after my "incident." I just sighed as I finished buttoning up the white shirt that was part of the uniform and dragged my trunk down to the living room. My mom looked up from her newspaper and smiled at me,

"Penny, this will be good for you, I promise it's not a bad school." She told me when she saw my face. I don't know what I looked like, I couldn't quite place the way I felt. This whole situation was so strange to me. Deep down I knew my mother was right, so I dropped my angry demeanor and smiled back at her.

At the station I hugged my mother and when I pulled away I saw eyes brimming with tears. Smiling, I wiped the singular that fell from her eyes. A girl with auburn hair pulled up in a car.

I sat down in the back. There were two other people in the car with me, one of them was in the back with me.

"I'm MG. This is Landon and hope," he said gesturing to the boy with curly black hair and the girl with reddish-brown hair.

"I'm Penelope, Penelope Park." I introduced myself to them.

"The girl who got expelled for fighting?" Hope asked. I sighed, of course, I already royally screwed this up.

"That's so cool dude, I heard about what he did. Trust me we all know he deserved it." Hope praised. I beamed so widely, finally, someone understood. "So Hope," I questioned the short girl driving, "tell me everything I need to know about the Salvatore School?"

Hope, Landon, and MG told me everything they thought was important which consisted of these things:
-for some inexplicable reasons the teachers always changed

-Lizzie Saltzman was the queen bee

-her twin Josie was her lackey

-Josie is Hope's best friend

-the twins are the headmaster's kids

-People rarely transferred anymore

By the time my new trio of friends had finished telling me about themselves and the schools' hierarchy we had arrived. We all grabbed our bags and headed up to the gates of the school. I looked up in awe, for a second rate school this place looked liked a castle.

"Holy shit," I muttered.

"So you're the newbie I'm supposed to show around," I heard someone say. I looked away from the school to see and girl with platinum blonde hair and piercing icy eyes.

so this is the infamous Lizzie, she's kinda tall. I smirked at her,

The one and only, Penelope Park," I said curtseying. The blonde scowled at me, but I heard a giggle from behind her. I glanced behind Lizzie to see who I assume is her twin, Josie. She blushed when she saw me staring and hid behind her sister.

I walked behind Lizzie and held my hand out to the brunette, "I'm Penelope," I told her. Her eyes bugged out of her head in fear as she blinked slowly. She grabbed my hand and shook it.

"Jo-Jo-Jah-Jah-Josie," She stuttered still in shock that I was talking to her, though I couldn't quite place why. I smiled sweetly at her, she was cute. "Well nice to meet you, JoJo," I said retracting my hand from hers. You'd think I felt the cliche of missing her touch, and you would be right. Her hands were so soft and meticulous.

"Anyways, Satan," Lizzie said

"Penelope,"

"Whatever, I'm your tour guide and my sister is just tagging along so eyes on me." She growled. I gave her my best puppy eyes and complained, "but your sister is so much prettier,"

I'd never seen someone choke on air until I called Josie pretty, when she saw me looking again she quickly decided to hide behind her potions book, so I couldn't see her. I laughed kindheartedly at her smiling so wide. I turned back to Lizzie and gave a mock salute, "Yes ma'am,"
