I woke up to the intense sound of rain descending from the sad sky, The clouds are depressed I suppose.
I got up from bed to go cook myself some breakfast, even though it was about 1 pm.
I walked to my small green kitchen, I moved past my plants that I really needed to water, and headed to the fridge.
I opened my fridge in hope to find some eggs and milk, but I was met with an empty fridge.
Of course this had to happen when it's pouring outside.
I sigh and pass my plants again, but I quickly walk back when I remember the need to water them.
I hastily went to my tiny bedroom and put on an oversized brown sweater and jeans, I got my rain coat and my keys and headed to the door after putting on my shoes.
Walking down the stairs with my rain coat's hood above my head and finally reaching the door, I pulled the door open while the sound of rain echoed through the street.
This weather made me at peace, the smell of rain all around.
I walked down the street in hurried movements In order to quickly buy my groceries and go back to the heat of my apartment. I finally arrived at the small grocery store near my house, It was only a five minute walk so it wasn't supposed to be tiring but my short legs begged to differ. I entered the store, the little bell above the door ringing signalling my arrival.
Looking around, I spotted the milk aisle and made my way toward it.
As I stood in front of the big selection of different kinds of milk, settling on whole milk I grabbed some chocolate milk too and went to find the eggs I needed.
I was just about to grab the second bag of chips, when I heard loud yelling.
"Where Is he??!" The man shouted.
"W-what are you talking about?" The cashier stuttered out.
I peeked from the corner of the aisle I was standing, and my eyes widened at the sight.
There stood a tall muscular guy with a bandana on his face, pointing a gun at the cashier who looked back at him with horror in his eyes. Huddling in the corner of the shop, I began to think of a way to get the hell out of here.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" The man hissed at the frightened cashier.
Looking around I tried to find any way to escape from this intimidating situation. Feeling relieved, I spotted a door at the back of the shop. This relief quickly washed away when I heard echoes of shouts followed by multiple footsteps. They weren't just one guy.
If I do it quick, nothing would happen I thought to myself.
I inhaled and with my grocery bags I ran quickly to the door almost tripping.
I opened the door and was extremely pleased to see the street.
As I closed the door and fastly ran to
